I agree that in match conditions his disposal has been poor.

Went to training on Anzac day and he spent the entire session playing kick to kick - belting with great accuracy 40-45 metre passes. Diesel was standing next to him and talking him through all aspects of the kick - the drop, the pointing of the toe, and Tex would adjust his kicking accordingly.

It is obviously something they are orkign on during his rehabilitaion.

BTW he looked fab - fit and toned. Just couldn't use one arm over his head, that's all.

Does anyone know when can we expect Tex on returning ??

Do you think he will be thrown straight into the senior team or will he come through the Bullants??

I spoke to TEX on ANZAC Day training and asked him when he is likely to be back and he said 5 weeks. That was almost 2 weeks ago so hopefully he will be back one or two weeks after the Brizzy game depending on fitness and the need to go back to Bullants/team structure and injuries.

Around that time Bannister should be ready to go too!

I watch him kicking with the dual brownlow medalist on the day and he only shanked one kick. 8)

I reckon Walks can be used in a number of roles. He could be used as a running half back, a dynamic wingman or an extra marking target up forward.

For some reason i think he would just add some unpredictability up forward and would be hard to match up on. If a small goes to him then we play him deep and use his marking power and if a tall goes to him then he plays across half forward and uses his running power and ability.

All i wanna say is finally we have some flexibility, finally we have some choices where guys can play and are not forced to play Walks down back because of lack of depth.

Ratts (on SEN this morning) mentioned a possible Round 11 return for Our Andrew .

Robert Murphy is a very fine footballer, had a good look at him last night and he is classy player with neat skills, hard to beat one on one and uses the ball as well as anyone in the game.....I'd luv AW to get to Murphys level with his skills...
