GIBBS - Played a lot of full forward at Glenelg and kicked lots of Goals, Murphs kicking probably not as reliable
MURPHY - Dunno either really but maybe murph
MURPHY - Better clearance player easily IMO at this stage of his career
GIBBS - Better overhead mark, no doubt about it, and bigger body/taller
GIBBS - Anyone see his tackles againt collingwood?? Bigger body too
MURPHY - Seen him sell the dummy quite a few times. Although I think Gibbsy is quite good at this too I've seen smurph do it more.
GIBBS - Any marking/spoiling contest Gibblets gonna be the way to go. Taller, bigger, yeah

Anyway theyre both absolute stars, different types of players, but they will win us many games over the next 10 + years

i've changed my mind a million and one times as to who i think will become the better player out of these two. i've finally decided that it's not worth wasting my time picking one as i am likely to change my opinion again and because they're both playing for carlton anyway. they're different types of players and they compliment each other really well. to date, i think murphy has shown a lot more than gibbs but things could easily change by the time they hang up the boots.
