Saddo, I think we may have been the 1's you were walking with to find JDees.
Those god damn streets are hilly and it seems nobody in perth have a clue where they are going.

Apart from that our footy day was pretty good, we spent a few hours at Timezone with a few of the boys.

JUDD!!

Haha not wrong there fullmont! We asked about 1000 people where this place was and nobody seemed to know and instead of just saying so would gives some directions that were completely wrong. Gee I was sick of walking after all that but it was well worth it!

I have a few photos whch I will put up tonight.

Also saw a guy wearing a WC jumper with the number 3 on the back and he had placed a massive cross over it with red tape. Found that pretty funny!

What a great thread.

All the way with the blueboys from WA!

Great effort Saddo...money well spent....in fact, a bargain!

It's a quiet place on weekend; similar to what Sydney was like (excluding Circular Quay) before the Olympics.

Ah Melbourne...I can never remember Melbourne being quiet at time.

yeah that's right Brad. Grro - what a great post!! I'm really happy for all the WA supporters who haven't seen us win there before - I know there are a heap of you there!! We heard the song loud & clear on the TV a few times. What a great game!!

We traded our Perth flights in for Adelaide flights so will be heading there for the Port game on the long weekend in June. Here's hoping we have a similar result

You should have asked him what he had against Mainy.

I've never been to an interstate game & a mate & I have been meaning to organise to go to one for several years.

We were close to going to the Eagles game, but couldn't get it over the line.

After reading this thread, it's inspired me & I've booked our flight to the Port Adelaide game in Rd.11.

If it's half as good as the Eagles game, I think I'll be happy. :-D

The person in the last photo holding up a piece of cardboard.

I tribute to Pratt no doubt.

I like it. It would be great if all carlton fans took a bit of brown cardboard to each game to hold aloft when we win.

Now that looks like a great night out boys, great pics and fantastic for you that you were there for a win.

My last game at Subiaco was I think Round 16, 2003 when we lost by 116 points.

Correct - round 15, 2003.

http://www.blueseum.org/tiki-index.php? ... 15%2C+2003

Geesh Angwin showed something that night. It's been a big 5 years and now we have hope in a bevy of young guns and the mighty Judd, instead of Whitnall staying fit and Angwin coming through.

Terrific thread guys

Passion makes it all worthwhile

And to beat those pricks on their own turf must have been a great feeling after we have been down for so long.

Great stuff

Finally got around to reading all of this thread.

But, wow, it was grrreat to save it so the excitement and joy of the win could be savoured well into the week.

Thanks to grro and all who contributed. 8)

WE WON! THEY DIDN'T!

WE HAVE JUDD! THEY DON'T!

WE'RE CARLTON! THEY'RE NOT!

:-D :-D :-D

PS. Oh yeah, could hear the song being sung in the crowd loud and clear (probably louder than it came through during the COllingwood game I reckon), sent a chill down my spine that did. Thanks!
