I haven't heard anything about these just have read a few other boards today...but who could be in trouble?

Fevola
Stevens
Murphy
Judd
Grigg

I think Fevola is definitely out for a week but the others I'm not so sure about.

Murphs didn't look good on the box.

Will be interesting to see if the tribunal has any consistency what so ever with the Fevola one

Fevola and Murphy should both be right. Nothing in either of them. Selwood went down like a sack of shit.

One of the Eagles blokes got reported in that scuffle on the boundary line with Murph IIRC.

I think the mods better look into who has hacked Abaddon's account.

There was no back swing on Fev's attempt, more like putting an arm out trying to stop him from running ahead. I think he stayed down because he was that stuffed that it just took whatever wind was left in him out.

Nothing in it.

Murph's was more like a push but the fact he had a clinched fist makes it look bad. I mean the guy he did it to didn't even remonstrate with him. Just gave a quick glance and continued with Judd.

Nothing in it.

Lets hope our luck with the match review panel continues to see things our way.

Fletcher I think, collected Stevens as they crossed paths near the interchange?

IMO:

Early guilty plea should see Fev play on with 90 demerit points hanging over his head. Not much in it at all.

Judd may get fined for wrestling

Stevens may get fined for wrestling

Murphy may have the same as Fev or it may not even be considered.

Grigg was the one getting punched...but was there another reason for this?????

If I was adjudicating I'd force the umpires to rip up their medal votes and give them all a Brownlow vote for endeavour. 3, 2, 1 = 6 votes for 5 blokes; give Stevens 2 votes.

Graeme Bond on 3AW said that Fev will get 1 week if the Match Review Panel assess it as intentional. However, he said if that's the case Carlton will probably contest the charge on the basis it should have been assessed as reckless. If reckless, it will just be a reprimand.

did that take into account prior record? - I'd be surprised if Fev were charged and was able to take a reprimand

Bondy normally takes priors into account when making these statements.

Yeah, he did. My girlfriend was jabbering on in the car so I missed some of what Bond said,  but he said something about some (or all?) of Fev's priors being old enough (ie. outside the limitation period) that they won't count against him. Remember that his suspension last year was a club suspension, not an AFL suspension. I don't think he's been suspended by the tribunal since 2005 or 2006.

The bottom line seemed to be that Bond thinks Fev will probably be charged, and he'll either get 1 week or a reprimand depending on whether the MRP assess the conduct as intentional or reckless.

Fev's hit looked nowhere near as bad from the 'new' angle (as opposed to the shot from behind the goals).

Fev's last suspension was when he charged Kirk (Sydney), I think that was in 2005(?)
