This will be a good contest to keep an eye on, not just tonight, but in the next 7-8 years.

I remember the reason the club gave when they selected Bowser in the draft was he was the only one in WA who had Josh Kennedy's measure.

is that better?

Bowers defensive work has been good......I always liked JK as a player cos he is a blue collar worker who always tries and gives you second and third efforts.....I hope Bower wins the day but I'd like JK to have a good one and kickstart his career....

I don't!

I want to get him back to the Blues on the cheap ala Croad Hawk-Docker-Hawk.

both about the same standard, bower should be able to run off Kennedy pretty easily though but Kennedy should be able to outmark Bower

Hopefully we see this match up, but I have a feeling we'll see Waite on Kennedy.

Best of luck to Josh. There's been heaps of talk about judd playing against the Eagles for the first time, but its just as big an occassion for Josh playing against the Blues for the first time.

yeah I can see the comparison, one is a club champion and premiership captain playing against his old team, the other was an early draft pick who was yet to show whether he would make it or not.

2005 Peel v Sharks Final. Bower blanketed JK - but the delivery into the forward line was average and JK spent much of the afternoon leading up onto the wing.

The day a couple of years ago that Murph and Ryan Jackson took my avatar photo of themselves with me lurking in the background, Josh and Paul were sitting next to them. Paul told me that he had played a lot of junior footy as a forward but expected to play on the backline in the future as a result of doing a good job containing Josh in the under 18 grand final.

Not to wish Josh any ill will because he seems to be a great young fella, but It would be good if PB repeats the dose tonight.

Are you referring to Bower or Kennedy? 8)

Kennedy showed more than Bower at Carlton and was playing one of the toughest positions on the ground. A CHF like Kennedy is the type of player you build around and an important ingredient in winning a flag.

I'd like to see Waite take Kennedy and run off him.

Hopefully we'll see them play on opposite halves of the ground next year.

Correct, BO's looking more and more like a peanut the longer this season goes.

Kennedy's only 2 games this year would have easily been in their best players. Bower, also, would have easily been in the best in the majority of games this year.
