We play 5 interstate sides in the next 6 weeks.

This could be a great turning point in the clubs development, we dont have the best record againts them home or away. lets start getting this hoodoo off our back

Yeah, what he said......

It's about time we start beating these teams in Melbourne, on OUR turf!!! (Well, sort of our turf)

And it's about time that the AFL gave a chance to play the shockers in Melbourne when they are not playing so well. Geez I am getting sick of being beaten by those purple pansies!!!

GO BLUES!!!!!

Problem is, we play those mongrels in Perth each and every year, because the Club asks for that. We've got no-one to blame for that but ourselves.

We also have an incredibly strong supporter base in WA, which we need to continue to nuture.

Agree, I'm not complaining about playing them in Perth, as long as they come over for the return leg.

Glad that they are playing so shit this year, although knowing our luck they will probably hit a purple patch when we play them. (No pun intended by the way!!)

Which isn't as big as the supporter base in Sydney. But somehow they're more important. :garthp:

Anyway, that's an argument we've been through numerous times, so I won't divert the thread.

I really enjoy threads like this.

Thanks nightcrawler.

Worthwhile analysis. Thanks for sharing this.

I think we'll be up and down, but Ratts and the conditioning people seem to be mindful of when to thrash them at 'closed' training sessions and when to lighten it up, such as this week given it's a 6 day break.

Thank Christ there's a bit of science and professionalism supporting this young talented list.

We're going places crew....I feel it...and it feels all good.

FINALS are a comin'.

I enjoyed this thread too - finally someone as optimistic as me and my sportsbet account (though it has taken a beating over the last couple years and first 3 rounds)

Yes Den Den :-D

Totally agree, we really shouldn't be looking too far down the draw at this stage.

Don't let that get in the way of KK's argument

Here, here! That would be a big improvement from the depths that we had fallen into.

It doesn't. So there.

And, it adds to the argument for mine as to one reason I'd be happy to see a second team up here.

It would be interesting to see what Sportsbet would offer for those selections!
