Just spoke to the membership manager and we are on 37,100.

They are running an ad on Thursday in the Hun getting supporters to sign up.

Judd who?! :?:

Good work DUC - I was just thinking about calling up, but looks like you saved me the effort!

C'mon, two wins now - a third in a row is on the cards, still plenty of home games left... like I said earlier, the people that need to be signed up now are A) relapsed members and B) people that Carlton supporters like us on TC know... I'm getting in the ear of every unsigned Carlton member that I know.

That promotion a few years ago when you saved money off a membership when another member signed up up was a good idea - maybe something to look at in the future... could be useful at this stage of the membership drive when the value of the membership has decreased somewhat...

Anyway, we've stacked on 500 members rather quickly. w00t w00t!! :-D

that's an awesome result........ but damn.......... i was hoping to crack 40k. Might struggle now. We only have 1 month to go to get 2500.

But jesus.......... 37500 is a great result for a club who's been through so much shit as we have!

From May 1 to June 30 last year we added 3629 members which was 10.24% of our total membership.

In 2006 it was 2856 or 9.93% of total membership.

Another 10% from where we are now would give us over 41,000.

Long way to go yet.

I was wondering how memberships we might have picked up last night at Subi following that win?

So, the number would become irrelevant then?.... How many supporters have more than one membership?

I thought it was crap that Eddie was able to sign up a non-existent spawn TWO YEARS beforehand - a non-existent devil spawn WITH VOTING RIGHTS.

Why enter a pissing contest if you've got to use a horse ***rooster*** to be competitive?

Why not just represent the figure as a $$ amount... 45,000 memberships might only mean 35,000 members.... That's up to 10,000 people getting two votes in an election.

Not many i'm guessing, considering it would have been extremely difficult to get tickets if you weren't already a member.

Calledthe club, because I wanted to know if he Blues/Cats was a fully ticketed event (which it isn't yet, if anyone wanted to know), then askd about the membership. If we win the next 2 games I think we'll be sure to crack 40K. Good times ahead.

These membership renewals have not come through as yet - 40,000+ on the bit - otherwise I will be walking up and down Bourke St naked and in a stooped position.
