Pro:

We went into a game as favourite for the first time in forever (feels like it anyway)

And won

Fev

Judd

Con:

The only part of the game I was able to listen to was the final 5 mins.

Stop picking on Russell - He has been in the thick of it in the past two weeks in the early parts of the game when it was in the balance.

We need to change the TalkingCarlton banner. He looks looks tougher without the mop on.

Pros

Murphy tackles opponent, wins ball, handballs to Kreuzer.
Kreuzer and Murphy do the old one-two.
Fishers shepherds Murphy who kick great running banana goal.

That sent a chill down my spine. The Murphy-Kreuzer combination will be one that delivers many great highlights in years to come.

This play simply HAS to get M&D's play of the week.

8)

Cons

That last quarter!

for a game that was so flat generally, there were a lot of individual highlights.

fev's first snap, robbo and clokes marks. judds goal from the middle, kruzer combining with murph for a great goal.

eddie's great chase and (unrewarded) tackle.

fevs chase leading to fishers goal.
fev's bycle attempt. fevs bullshit fresh air kick from 35m.

fev's bomb on the siren.

not too bad i guess.
to win comfortably when only playing half a decent game is good but we have a long way to go against even semi decent teams.

melborune were very bad and wasteful.

Cons:
We are still 4 or 5 players short of a solid starting 22

Pros:
Back to back wins
Return of that winning culture
Growing confidence of the kids
Walker and Gibbs still to come back
Judd only 85% fit

Pros

Cameron Cloke - he is a real blue collar footballer, absolutely commited
Bannister - same as Cloke
The kids - Improving each week, including Jordan Russell who from memory played a key part in two or three goals early in game. He fed off some really good quick handballs

Cons

I was a little worried that Fev was having a tantrum and sook in the 4th Qtr when Bower bombed one in long. Got over it when he converted on the siren outside 50. Maybe me reading too much into it

Temp football is boring to watch and when we come up against a good side we will get murdered.

We need to move the ball quickly into the forward line if we are going to be a force.

Tempo football is outdated and good football sides don't use it anymore.

We're not a good football side just yet and until our players are ready for it there is no point trying to move the ball any quicker than we are now.

We saw what happened against Hawthorn when we tried.

I agree. Still a fair way to go for him though.

There was a breif period in the 2nd half when we repeatedly took the ball down the wing through simmo and had it in our forward line in a flash. The only problem was it rebounded outnearly everytime. If we are to have quicker movement - we need more forwards

Ditto, if you want to pick on someone look no further than Nick 'No Heart' Stevens. He is the biggest girl in the AFL and most overrated player by a long long way.

Jeez I'd hate to hear what you would say if we had lost 2 in a row.

another pro i recognised: Fev tried his hardest to get out of melees. I know he had that wrestle with 8 demon players, but he was provoked and didn't really do to much...however when the other push and shove involving Pfieffer and Setanta and co, I saw fev just staying out of it , by himself, in the goal square. He has changed all for the good.

I reckon that if it had been Murph or Gibbs caught up in a grapple Fev would've run the length of the field to help out.

If it was Murphy, I would have jumped the fence to kill anyone who hurt him.

It took two people to stop me from killing Maxwell.
