Awesome work stormin. We bought a flight to Perth back in October as soon as Juddy was announced in anticipation of this game. Unfortunately we're now not going due to the inability to get tickets. While I'm disappointed, I'm really glad that WA members were given preference & I hope you all scream your guts out for us who couldn't get there.

We'll get to see 18 games in Melb this year & we've now decided to go up to Brisbane for round 21 so we can't really complain!

For those who are going to try and get tickets through ticketmaster, there's a limit of 6 tickets per transaction. Good luck!

Yeah I'm a Melbourne based member and I booked a flight to Perth also late last year-but as much as I'm disappointed I couldnt get tickets from CFC, I think its a good thing the WA based members got preference. I'll try my luck on the afl general sale.

E-mailed WA members group with a plea for help. They were very nice about it, but obviously can't really help due to the limited number of seats. Apparently there are 2000 WA based members and 600 seats allocated! He wasn't sure whether or not the 'WA based members only' tickets on 27/3 was actually policed. Anyway, he suggested I try e-bay else ticketmaster is the go on 21/4.

So, it's been confirmed there will be about 3000 seats or thereabouts. Called the afl and ticketmaster, neither of which were helpful but AFL membership say they have nothing to do with Subi. OK, fair enough but then WHO actually allocates seats? The AFL must have something to do with it...

Anyway, I'll be on ticketmaster 21/4 as soon as they come out (apparently 11am melb time). Does anyone have best suggestion of whether I go to an outlet (2 min drive away), telephone or use the internet (which I normally do but it might be busy)? Thanks for the help!

hadz, I would suggest you check ticketmaster at 9.00am not 11.00. I went onto the ticketmaster site to look for info & it definitely said tix on sale at 9am.

Thanks danielle - will go on at 9 anyway, but I spoke to ticketmaster and apparently the info on the website is related to where the event is taking palce. So because the event is in Perth, it opens 9am perth time ie 11am here. Will be up at 9 anyway but anticipating them only to be available in Vic at 11.

Cheers

No worries. I had a friend who was getting tickets in Perth & she said that she had to ring or be at the ticket window or something at 7.00am. Not sure if I got the info right but I would hate for you miss due to a stupid time delay.

Good luck!!

Yeah it's 11am melbourne time for sure cause of the time difference. Expect these tickets to be snapped up in no time so best option will be to go to a ticketmaster outlet your self at 11 and wait.

Timing is gonna be a massive issue so I would suggest getting the first tickets allocated to you without thinking about how good the seats are!

At least you will be inside the ground!

:-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Not the best seats by any imagination - but who cares, I'm off to Subiaco!!!

What a stressful morning, but in the end the internet really wasn't busy and we have 4 seats (meeting 2 perth guys there) on the HFF row B!

10 days away, i'm bloody excited!

Enjoy the game hadz - a few weeks ago, I would have penned this game as a loss but we could actually steal this game if we play one on one footy and run and create opportunities.

She sounds hot.

I've only had good service whenever I've called, so to hear of such a response is disappointing. The Club needs to treat its non-Victorian members well, as they provide a very important support base for the Club, not just financially either. Not good form pissing them off.

Must've copped a bad apple I suppose.

ive always found its a mixed bunch when i ring the membership department sometimes good, sometimes bad but in all honesty i have had so many problems with my memberships over the years its not funny

things sent to wrong addresses , my name being spelled wrong from year to year , my daughters name wrong on her baby blue birth certificate, no records of me paying etc etc the list goes on - all things eventually get fixed which is nice but simple errors like this shouldnt happen

i might have been the 30th WA member today to ask her the same question i dont know ????

but being a membership department as such it really is the face of the club to us members and it needs to come across much more professional than it does. ( more often than not )
