Sounds like he's fighting back tears every time he speaks.

Yeah that use to confuse people on the footy show. THey would pan in when he was talking about retiring or that disabled guy he was helping out. They hoped to catch some tears but really that is just the way he sounds. Probably nerves.

I dont think he is cut out for telly.

Archer is pathetic and totally out of his depth on that show. Cheap shot to Ratts aside, I didn't mind Caro's work on Monday night. She owned Archer in the Nth Melb debate when he was carrying on stupidly about saying the club doesn't need bad press and she should only be writing positive articles about them to help them out. He's got no idea.

She also had something nice to say about the Blues when they were discussing the game, but it got drowned out by Hutchy (I think) hurrying to the next story - right at the end of the piece she said "Wasn't it fantastic to see Carlton as a club celebrating at the end of the game', seemd to be very sincere and not something I would have expected from her.

I think it would be interesting to see what the ratings would be if OTC was on seven in the same timeslot - FC would get smashed, IMHO.
The Ratts interview was a complete waste of time.

Hutchy, is that what that pumpkin face's name is.

Caro saying 'we were accused of tanking' blew me away. Why doesn't she at least have the courage to say 'that I accused you of tanking...'? She said as much in black and white, then didn't have the bravery to followit up. But she did say it again and attempted to remove Ratten's right of reply by following up with ..'we wont talk about that now..'

Shameful journalism. Rubbish show. Hope her t*ts drop off!

Look I am sick and tired of all the cheap shots leveled at how Caroline Wilson looks and the fact she has had:

- dental work
- breast augmentation
- botox to fill in sunken lips
- botox to fill in the tell tale signs ageing being the crows feet around the eyes.
- dressed by St Vincent De Paul

These things should have nothing to do with the fact that she is just a hypocrite, selectively uses her facts to support her biased point of view and just that really she is just a plainly bad journalist.

So lay off her appearance - because there is plenty of other stuff she gives us by her gross incompetence as a "professional sports writer".

Hear, hear....so much for her "sources" and 'contacts"- if she had any credible sources, she would be making a solid argument about the unjust sanctions against the Carlton Football Club and the corruption of all AFL clubs re. tanking and salary cap rorting, amongst other things. Her rhetoric has descended into childish and ill-informed guesswork which has little or no foundation- witness her argument re. James Brayshaw and the so-called "disquiet" at Nth Melb....honestly, her contribution, much like Fatprick and Hutchy, is becoming less relevant by the day.

So just like her reference to us tanking - we wont go there, eh Caro.

spoke to ratts tonight briefly about his appearance on the show. i asked whether he felt set-up by the invite on the basis that they were expecting a demoralising carlton loss to the old foe. it seemed to me that our win had them tearing up the script.

he smiled and said that he felt the interview was quite soft, apart from a couple of "backhanders" from caro, but that is to be expected from such a biaised richmond person ...

Maxy, did Ratts use the term backhander?

I haven't seen this show, but from the sound of things I'm not missing anything.
To digress slightly, I was driving through the Mallee a couple of Saturdays ago, and all I could get on the radio was Hutchison's ,''Off The Bench'' on relay from 3AW.
Would have to be the worst 2 hours of radio I've ever heard. When Hutchison wasn't babbling on about nothing in particular, he was talking over the top of Liam Pickering, who at least knows something about the game . Pickers must have seriously considered snotting the wanker just to stop him from talking shit.
It would appear that irrespective of whether he is on TV or radio, Hutchison cannot disguise the fact that he is a five star tattle tale, dobbing drongo, with no credibility.

PS , Boring too.

DUC, i love marc murphy too ... not that there's anything wrong with that ...

i must say that kruezer is super impressive. the grand-son of robert heatley was reminiscing about his PP / carlton memories. he specifically spoke about the legacy that legends like soapy vallence, jim park etc left with him, a 70 year legacy!! he implored the new recruits to think about the fact that they too can leave a 70 year legacy on an impressionable young supporter. of the new recruits i noticed kruezer was transfixed and moved by what he said. kruezer just came across as a really good kid, a footy head who isn't embarrassed about his slightly daggy, peter dean like hair-style. he just seemed to be loved by all the guys there last night.

i must say that i was blown away with the size and height of richard hadlee. he looked to be just 2 inches shorter than kruezer (perhaps 3 inches without the gell, spiked hair!). hadlee seems to me to be a really astute recruitment ... here's hoping anyway ...

Maxyblue - this is "Field of Dreams" stuff and I am almost in tears thinking about.

We are building it right now and by god they will come. :-D

The "Field of Dreams" is.....

that we are the first team to truly get the best player from three drafts.

I reckon this is a big probability at the moment.

If they all stay at the club, the next 10-15 years are going to be GOODY GOODY YUM YUM.....!
