That's code for reading posts on Big Footy these days is it?

Hmmm - i for one am never happy when I hear Fev is on the Footy Show...would prefer he go on the Sunday version.

This game even more worrying now...the players organising their own recovery sessions on Monday was a concern and now Fev having to put up with the crap from Sam on a Thursday night...i'd much rather see Fev having to deal with Gordon Ramsay than Sam Newman.

I'd be happier to know he wasn't on the show.....but he's obviously under a 9 contract to appear so many times a season.

I don't watch it anymore.....but the last time I did; he looked to me like the "Village Idiot" repacement for Doug Hawkins.

The last time Fev "KISSED" on The Footy Show, Lara got Bingled....

That's my concern.

You have to admit, at least he's got a sense of humour!!! Others could take a leaf out of his book.

Can you please elaborate Doc as to what this means?

Yep - I heard from a very reliable source (one of the WAGS), that the boys were left to their own devices with regard to the recovery session the day after the win. This takes me back to my days in the amateurs and country footy. Now - i'm not saying 'our boys' aren't professional enough to do the right thing by their bodies and their employer...but I would've thought that with a new fitness staff, new players and only a month in to the season proper - there'd be a process and routine in place...round 20 I can understand - but after round 4?? Complacency.

Thought he spoke really well and good to get the interview out of the way like that at the start of the show. Main points:

- was out, mucked up and only acts like an idiot when he is 'on the sauce', wont drink during the season - will have a drink with the boys after the season ends and maybe a beer at home - but going to be spending most of his time with the family

- honestly thought he was going to be sacked, was shattered and turned up to the club thinking he was going to be fired. Was a real wake up call.

- Alex has been amazing support for him - been behind him 100% all the time.

- doesnt care about how many goals he kicks, is more focussed on the defensive side of his game and just wants the team to win games

- thinks he may have lost of the respect and faith of some of the teammates at the time of the incident, but thinks they are behind him 100% now and wants to repay the faith in him and let his football do the talking

- out of contract at the end of the year and wants to remain at Carlton and spend the rest of his career with the club

We hit the piss on a Sunday after a game (their Monday) usually. Works really well.

Well probably not the best thing from the clubs point of view.. although it's great for us watchin!!
At least he is interesting and a bit of character.. Not like Matty bloody lloyd. Half the guys on there are soooo boring.
And by the way everyone thinks he embarrasses himself on there, you don't realise he plays on the whole thing?? He's kind of acting, it's his role on the show.. Same as Shane Crawford. Some people take it way too seriously.

Also, Anyone else noticed the last few weeks Fev has been biting the tongue when something goes against him? Great example was when O'Brien was given a very iffy free for holding on, just as Fev stripped him and was about to kick a goal. You could see he wasnt happy and opened his mouth to give the ump a spray as per usual, but just turned around and coughed it up.

Fevs turned a corner and I've said it since the candybar incident
