There is a snip in the Hun today on The Pulse page about Peter Bosustow, looking to sell his jumper from 1981, when he won the Mark, Goal of the Year and Premiership to help pay for his daughter's cancer treatment.

His daughter Brooke is suffering from cervical cancer and the Buzz is looking for a home for the jumper and possibly his Premiership Medallion.

Tore at my heart to read that.

I hope Brooke gets well very soon and all the best to Peter and his family.

that's terrible news, I hope the club can rally around him by purchasing the items off him - would be a great item to put on display when we (one day) get a museum/hall of fame type thing.

I'm sure he would love them to be on display there.

Mods, can we get something organised here to help out?

Buzz has provided us with so many happy memories, it would be a pleasure for me to help out by dipping into my pockets during his time of need.

I remember The Buzz being the talk of the playground when I started Primary School back in the early 80s... Its amazing what an impact a 60 or so game player has had at our club.. Good Luck to Peter and his family... Hope the CFC help him out..

QFT - lets see what TC can do to help out - maybe with the combined resources here we could come up with some things for auction to help raise some money as well or have a TC gathering - BBQ or something like that to raise some money

I've called the club. They probably will be collecting money for The Buzz and his family but haven't organised it yet.
They will email me when something is official and we'll work out something then.

This is a Carlton icon and he shouldn't have to sell his memorabilia.

We'll make sure he doesn't have to Buzz.

Apologies for getting off topic - but Agro I just noticed your location and laughed because I know his missus and that would not be too far wrong either.

I'd say the problem will be solved if Dick hears about it.

Terrible news for the Buzz...

Let's wait to hear what the club plans before we organise anything.

That being said, I'm happy to contribute if we do something

I had the privilege of watching The Buzz throughout his all-too-short career with us, and believe me, he was a freak.

Count me in too.
