With Chris Judd & Brendan Fevola being picked in the Victorian squad, to play in the 150th anniversary game. As Carlton supporters do we want to see our key players participate in this exhibition game?

Considering Judd is still recovering from his injury, do we want him to be risked in a friendly match? Remember if he doesn’t play he would be gaining a much needed rest, and would be more prepared for the latter part of the season.

Also over the past few years Fevola hasn’t finished off his seasons well due to multiple compounding injuries. Should we want him to play knowing well that he will be getting triple teamed while not even representing the navy Blues?

Just an excuse to give our players a chance to do a knee or some other injury. I would rather opposition players play. Yes I would like them to do an injury if they are going to play against us the following week. Maybe I am not as nice as my mother says I am.

Who cares about state rivalry? It is an anathema.

Heck we don't even need state governments. We are the most over represented nation per capita in the world.

Far too many politicians. Theres an idea have the politicians play instead of Carlton players and smash each other.

This is a complete waste of time.....Aussie Rules has and will always be about the clubs!

Let the other codes have their interstate / international games.....

I notice over here in NZ that it is all about the All Blacks. When they play everyone is in to it whereas the interest in the Super 14 teams is lukewarm at best.

Totally true - I'll go out of my way to watch two teams
The ABs and the CBs

It would be great to have our club represented, but let's face it - the risk to injury is not worth the "ooh"s and "aah"s of the representation ..

wow.... all posts in this thread are against them playing but the poll shows that people are mostly in favour of them playing.

Really makes you think....

It should be up to the players to decide.

If they are good enough to be invited, then it's their doing.

As great as Juddy has been.....he's still not right, and it worries me a tad.

If anyone's still got the vision of the game....check out Judd who, from memory jumped off the ground just before the siren to take a handpass, and when he landed....favoured his leg or something....just for an instant.

He might've just cramped up....I don't know.....hope so.
