PROS

kept the opposition to under 100 points

Fev is a star and stood up at key points

We played a lot of young kids who tasted victory

Judd showed great leadership in the last quarter

We won all four quarters

Couldnt be happier for Ratts. Gets the monkey off the back

The boys learnt how to win

Carlos' 1%ers in the forward line were critical at times

Thought Murphy and Gibbs really stood up

No 36 is going to be a good get for the club for many years to come

CONS

I made a fool of myself at 8 mile creek which is a bar in new york by being so animated! You flower beauty!!!

PROS:

The boys played strong & confident footy. They (finally) look like a team that can mix it with the best. The improvement with each game so far this season will continue.

CONS:

"Tempo footy" and the holding the ball above the head signal.

A good team effort. Couldn't ask for anything more than that

I couldn't get to the game and watched the coverage on channel 7. The camera's zoomed on Eddie Mcguires face towards the end of the last quarter and i tell ya the look on his face was gold!!

FLOWER YOU EDDIE. 3AW believe that behind the scenes Eddie Mcguire on the Partick Smith bandwagon about our president.

They also zoomed on our proud President Richard Pratt and it looked liked he had tears in his eyes.

CARN THE MIGHTY BLUE BAGGERS!!!

Channel flowering 7 not giving us the song after the game - they set aside three hours for a telecast and can't find room for the song?????

They delay the telecast so they can run 10 ads after a goal, take 3 hours to show the game, then cut off the interview with Chris Judd and don't show the song.

People should start timing the ads, it must break the FACTS (Federation of Australian Commercial Television Stations) limits.

It's a fair dinkum joke!

After he's interview in the paper this weekend saying that he cannot wait to hand us our record loss, i'm gonna start calling Rocca "APPLES".................. as in.................

"HOW DO YOU LIKE THEM APPLES......................... MONG HEAD!"

Pros:-

- Fevola
BRILLIANT. Love this guy, never want him to leave the club EVER........... he can piss on my window anytime.

- Murphy
SIGN THE BASTARD UP NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- Not conceding more than 100 points!
First time since 2006 that we've managed to keep a side from kicking 100 points + on us!

- BEATING COLLINGWOOD
That's right you pack of turds.......... i've been quiet in the past when we beat you but i've taken too much of your filthy spits towards us over the past few seasons. What have you got to say for yourself?
Isn't it wonderful to think that two Kreuzer was a collingwood supporter? An even bigger slap on the face is Judd.......... who apparently was DESTINED to go to the pies was wearing the famous #5 left vacant by Bucks???????????????

- Bower & Grigg
Both have taken heavy criticism recently but both showed some good signs today!

- Upcoming games
Don't wanna get ahead of myself here but we have Melbourne, Adelaide and then West Coast.............. all of which pretty much suck at the moment............... We have a good chance of winning at least 2 of them maybe even all of em....................

Cons:-
NONE...................... As Bono would say................ IT'S A BEAUTIFUL DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm surprised all post here haven't listed Grigg as a Pro.

As an opposition supporter who pretty much watches most games each week I have to say I've never even heard of him. Now, the mere mention of the fact he may have taken heavy criticism in past tells me he's been around awhile and may have been disappointing.

Today he was awesome. Showed some true grit and strength and totally shut down Heater when he was on him.

You expect to hear praise forthe likes of Fev, Judd, Murphy, Waite.... but I for one will be watching this kid a bit closer from now on.

You all should be very happy with him today.

PROS: (Aside from what as already been mentioned)
Such a fantastic win will give the boys confidence to continue playing like the way they did today, it will give the young guys a taste of what it feels like to win and not just win, but beat the maggies! :D

PRO's

- Midfield Balance: Great rotation and a blend of in and under (Haldey / Judd / Murphy/ Pfieffer ) and good disposal (Stevens / Judd / Gibbs / Simmo)

- Tackling: %50 better than the last three weeks. Gibbs and Kruezer were stand outs. The boys showed some serious intensity today.

- Ruck: Cloke was very good and Kruezer is a freak....He taps...he roves...he does it all.

- Defence: Bower, Waite and Jamo rebounded well. T-Bird mopped up and Carrots stopped Thomas and Davis at the same time. Carrots showed a defensive side to his game that was excellent.

- Forward Pressure: Fish and Fev were brilliant. Fev was outstanding. Fish always presents (unfortunately he will get injured again if he backs into the packs like that)

4 Quarters: played the whole game...enough said

Con

- Disposal: Our opposition (every week) gets easy goals from dumb turnovers. Ussually from poor disposal. It is our biggest problem.

PROS: Too many to mention

- Broke both ducks today, great to have those monkeys off the back.
- Backline, superb. Waite smashed Rocca, Thornton kept Didak on a leash, Jamison towelled up Medhurst, Bower molested Travis Cloke and Bannister forced poster-boy Daisy to actually earn a kick for once (we all saw how that turned out).
- More midfield pressure. Forcing them wide, and providing our defenders with the assistance they need
- FEV, getting back to his best, and our "Murph/Stevo/Judd delivering to Fev" fantasy is taking shape.
- Grigg, murdered Heath Shaw. Will be a player
- Murphy and Gibbs, will be our Mitchell and Hodge/Ablett and Bartel
- Fisher, great hands
- Setanta, great forward line pressure. Maybe I'm wrong about him not playing forward
- Cameron Cloke, I hope the young guys look at how this guy not blessed with exquisitie skills gets the most out of himself for the sake of the jumper, and learn from it
- JUDD, while only starring really in the last quarter, gives more signs of what to expect for 4 qtrs when he doesn't have to worry about his groin anymore
- KREUZ, a workmate of mine (scum supporter) today declared he'll be better than Buddy Franklin
- Seeing the contrasting looks on the faces of Pratt and McChins
- 40,000 members very much a reality!

CONS: Important to note where we can still improve
- Junk time goals. While only occuring in the 1st quarter this week, it still shouldn't happen at all.
- 50m penalties. Too many, especially ones that put them on the goal line
- Holding the ball up. Essentially like waving a white flag to the opposition. If you're going to slow it down, your teammates should already know it. We need a poker face.
- Guys, you don't have all the time in the world to get a kick away.
- Soft goals. Allowing blokes like Davis and Clark to kick them unchallenged when they had done nothing for the whole match. Always allowing them a couple of easy goals through skill errors or poor judgment (ie 50s) to keep them in the game. We should've won by more.
