Very interesting article:

http://www.realfooty.com.au/news/news/rhythm-and-blues/2008/04/12/1207856924535.html

Seems to me we finally really are doing the right things...... but as the article says, it takes time....

There is obviously a hell of a lot going on behind the scenes. Lets hope it gets some results soon.

Well we at least now know they are doing something. To be honest i kinda thought to myself just what the hell do Teauge and Skinny do as development managers. Any little bit must help with the development of our younger players.

Didn't know Teague was a teacher - that certainly does help, as it's a difficult skill to acquire.

Very pleased to see the club building a strong foundation, just goes to show how far behind we have been in our infrastructure. The old boys club culture no longer cuts it in the current game.

Wow, I was totally unaware that this sort of stuff was going on and I have to say I'm incredibly relieved. It was something they planned on doing but wih Teague and Lappin in charge I wasn't sure if it went ahead.

Great article and a real insight to a part of the game we rarely see.

Let's not get carried away. I'm sure most other clubs do much the same thing, but its still great to hear.

The glass doesn't exist.

Claiming that we have the best development system in the league based on one fluff piece article, also knowing that we didn't even have one last year, is just silly.

It's a good start but we still have plenty of work to do before we catch the very best player developers (Adelaide and Collingwood).
