The vending machine at work is one of those ones that has a number that corresponds to the item you wish to purchase.

There are three numbers that hold coke - 71, 72 and 73. I always choose the '72' option.

In Year 9, whilst recieving instructions from my maths tutor, he asked quickly, "12 times 6"- I blurted out "Flag!" Yes, my tutor was none too impressed as earlier, he asked "what's 9 by 6" and I replied with "60"- the footy score!

In 1995 I broke into the ground every Friday night before a game I thought we might lose, just ot stand on the grass and summon the energy of the blue spirit. This started immediately after the two losses so I ended up with a 100% stike rate.

I think someone saw me on my last venture and followed me, discovering my route. It was thoroughly fixed soon after, but we won the flag.

Wish I could find another way in........

I remember getting my Ma to pick me up from school early so I could watch the State of Origin live from WA.

We had sooooo many players involved back then  .

Lots of stupid things,

Back around 92' I had a wedding to go to the same day we were playing the dogs at Princes Park. The service was due to finish around 2:00 - in Werribee, I never missed games back then, so I booked a room in the hotel across the street, sped back there, straight to the game (got there late in the 2nd quarter), straight to the hotel afterwards to get changed then out to the reception.

In 94' I lied to my cousin saying I had work on so I couldn't go to her engagement party until late - went to Carlton v Collingwood instead.

The latest is that I apologise to my 7 month old daughter whenever we lose - since she was born we have NEVER won.

as a joke, when my daughter, now 5, was learning to speak, we taught her that the team in the blank & white jumper were the dirty magpies. My uncle is a one eyed Collingwood supporter & it was pretty funny hearing this litlle girl saying dirty magpies whenever prompted.

However, now she's nearly 6 & at school, she still refers to Collingwood as the dirty magpies.

Traveled to NZ in 1995 when we played North in the Semi at night. Without the internet (it wasn't all the flash back then) and no shortwave radio in Queenstown that night - I called ABC radio in Melbourne from the hotel I was in and asked to be left 'on hold' so that I could listen to the game. That was one expensive hotel bill - but so very worth it.

Suffering:
I had to go to a wedding in GF day in 87 nad had to take a tranny (radio sort, not the other sort) with me.

Had the tranny in the jacket pocket with the earpiece up the sleeve ust poking out of the cuff.

Needless to say that the "wedding people" weren't footy people (don't see them much any more - funny that)

Celebrating:
Come from a family of Essendon* (Flower I hate Essendon*) supporters. As a full AFL member I had to buy them all tickets to ....you guessed it...the 99PF, wasn't to happy about it beforehand. Flowering ecstatic that they could share the experience with me afterwards

1995 Preliminary Final against North, I had a wedding.

I went to the church but I suddenly had car trouble getting to the reception, which was in woop woop so I couldn't make it - sent my apologies.

Went to the game instead but kept my head down to ensure that the cameras didn't catch my face on national television.

It bucketed with rain, so I felt that Karma was being a bitch because I lied.

But we won, so I flowered off Karma.

I've taught my 5YO that they're called the Magpoos. She thinks it's funny, and so do I  . Yesterday she said "who do the Blues play this week?" I said Collingwood, she said"urrrrrrr, the magpoos - Yuk!"

I'm such a jeuvinile  .

I do not suffer from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder or anything (sure! says MrsNTB) but I do like to leave the volume level on the TV at a number that corresponds with a favourite player (like 43 for Kouta when we are playing a concert DVD or 26 for Ando when watching the news) Unfortunately Murph at 3 and Juddy at 5 do not get much of a go except when there is crap reality shows on all channels and I do not want to hear them. ( Now that I have admitted all that, I think I will seek treatment

i have a powder room dowstairs covered in Carlton stuff. At the end of each game, as sure as the sun sets, I walk into the powder room and put a star on the player that i think most deserved it. Once i put the star on i say well done and then proceed with life as usual. The star gets moved every week. I had an old poster on the wall which my lovely husband decided to place the star on Libba after the footy show. A few days later I noticed what he had done, i aslo saw a Vic Bitter label next to Fev. The abboud was very tense and i actually argued that he had disrespected my beliefs and that it was unacceptable.
I also am adamant that my beloved dog can say Carlton. I show anyone who i can what the dog can do. The looks i get are priceless, but i am sure he does it, no really he says Carlton.

I was refreshing the page that often on Black Friday that I got TC blocked at work. I'd used more bandwidth that day than everyone else combined

BM - have you ever revealed who Mr BM supports?

I once stole a life size cardboard cut out of sticks, that's all I can say about the incident.
