If we win less than 5 games this year, will we be elligible for another priority pick?

This is just a question as I cannot see where we will get too many since we play Melbourne only once. We might pick up one against Richmond on the return leg and perhaps Essendon*. This makes it three only. None are assured. So anyone with knowlege on this, please let me know.

Thanks.

Yes we would get another #1 pick.

We want to win games.

We will win games or heads will roll.

I'm still tipping 8-10 wins.

Don't be so sure. The Gold Coast team might be involved in the 2008 draft and they might get a look in before we do, if we become eligible for the PP - which I sincerely hope that we don't!

DUC is right,

I wouldn't be banking on any favours from the AFL when it comes to priority picks this year. Yes, we might get a PP but it might come after the Gold Coast have taken the top five players available. Who knows what will happen... but we can't risk it.

Besides... it is better for kids like Gibbs, Murphy, Bower, etc to get that winning feeling. It will stand them in good stead for next year.

Flower the priority pick!
I'd much rather see us win games of footy to get the young guys the feeling that they want to stay.
Even if we win a few games this year, we will still end up with a top 10 pick, so it's more a case of using that pick properly and doing our research.

Kids develop ten fold more quickly under winning teams and cultures... for our youngsters sakes we need to start pinching games and get that feeling that we can beat top sides or anyside in that matter.

There is no point hiding behind the fact that yes our kids are developiing slowly and it`ll take time.......but i firmly believe the development would be accelerated a long way if we started to win games of footy.

It all starts against collingwood...we will win. Bring on Melbourne...we will win. we will beat freo at TD as well.

The end of the great trial for the Carlton football club is in its last stages now,

But the round on which our first victory will occur has been hidden from us all.

which means that the football gods are testing the faith of all Blues supporters.

The football deities would like to see how deep and how true the love of the supporters is for this great club.

Continued faith and patience from us should surely answer their question...

Most others are comfortable in the belief that we are a long way from success.

Indeed, no one knows the day of our resurgence, but rest assured that it will indeed come.

All things balance out, and after many poor years, Carlton is now due for a time of good fortune

Many will be shocked and surprised when this occurs.

But the long suffering faith of true Carlton people is destined to be handsomely rewarded.

Despite our current lowly status, rest assured that the time when Carlton will bask in football glory draws ever closer....

Lucky we arent Melbourne, for whom 'near' would be 2018. We are much closer than that.

Typical psychic...all generalities and no detail. How about giving us the round number of our first win...hold on I'll give you a clue its a number from 4 to 22.. :-D

There is no way on God's Green Earth - that the "Gold Coast Team" will have a pick before us in the 2008 National Draft should we qualify for a Priority Pick this year.

I have spoken and my LIST WILL FALL!!!
