NRS is given on consistency generally. Palmer has been playing very well and deserved it this week. Kreuz will get his nomination.

Every senior AFL game Kreuzer has played, he has played above expectations. :P

I couldn't give a rat's clacker if he gets nominated or not.
If he can play like that in his first game against a guy that probably had 15kgs on him, then I can't wait to watch his next game.

Who cares about the NRS anyway?
Pearce, Holland, etc, etc.
Means Jack....

Its an awar that is exactly like the Brownlow - a midfielders award. Nathan Brown has played on and beaten Pavlich, Brown and Richardson in the first 3 rounds. Still doesn't get a nomination.

I wouldn't go holding my breath Kreuzer getting a nomination.

For someone called Verbs you have a poor command of the English language.

The 'verbs' that you were looking for are 'gutted' and 'rapt'.

Someone after my own heart. Don't make a habit of it, though, dark one, or you will go crazy.

Maybe he was pissed (guttered) at the time and meant 'raped'. You are assuming he meant 'rapt'.

there has got to be a section here for sticklers - :)

Or perhaps one that explains TC in jokes.

Looks like it needs to be explained again...

verbs made those typos in purpose as an in joke for some of the rants our friend "ThePrez" has posted on this board. Guttered [sic] and rapted [sic] are two of his most endearing adjectives.

Hopefully where all on the same page now.

Nah Palmer was good.

He is gonna be a superstar. I gave him shit prior to the Championships & dismissed his form as lucky when he turned it on. But i loved watching him continue that form through to the end of the season.

Kreuzer will get his turn!

Kreuzer will get his chance.. He was excellent though, some of the highlights of his play amazed me! :)

I suppose you couldnt overlook Rhys Palmer, impressive first 2 games, but Kreuzer will be a champion! Dare i say it, the MOST important of our next generation players! Couple more KPP's and we'll be a regualr Top 8 force in the AFL..

Oh another thing, how good is this guy's agility for his size.. Reminds me of an Adam Goodes!

The young man who looks like a young Lockett should be more miffed than Kreuzer at missing out when he played 9 games and kicked 12 goals last year.

But they reward form.

http://bigpondvideo.com/afl/45782

God help our backline.

And there was no footage of Kreuzer's game in that video, but plenty of some muppet called John Anthony.

Just like Mike not mentioning Murphy as one of the next generation of guns in today's column, it seems Carlton has no young guns.

Yet he gave Lovett a plug. :garthp:

That "muppet" broke his neck at training before the season started last year. There was a very real chance he'd never play again. He came out and kicked 2 goals with his first 2 kicks in AFL footy and continued to play some very good footy in a very good team.

Give him some credit.

With all respect to Kreuzer, because I really do think he's going to be a gun, it's pretty easy to look good in a shit team.

He'll get his nomination. But it won't be this week.

Actually it's the opposite. It's easier to look good in a good team where you just come on for 10 mins, play unchecked, play your natural game because your team is thumping the opposition rather than trying to work your guts out when the senior players aren't manning up and you have to take a lot more responsibility.

Wow. Ya reckon?? Big call considering this week's nominee has already been announced.
