Palmer from Freo was the nomination. I did not see the Freo/WCE game but I am very surprised. Everybody (outside the club) said that Kreuzer had the best debut for many years. ....

NRS is given on consistency generally. Palmer has been playing very well and deserved it this week. Kreuz will get his nomination.

Palmer deserved it, if Kreuz can string together another couple of good games he'll get it.

We don't need to worry about Kreuz - what he showed for a 6'7" 19 yo is good enough for me 8) .

Kreuzer played better.

I for one am at a loss to understand why the NRS is held in such high esteem by so many people. I don't care if we never win it or the Brownlow. Premierships are all that matter.

Yeah, but if you're a richmond, st kilda, dogs or collingwood supporter, it's the ducks guts of awards.

Both very good games (a few in a row for Palmer), but the staples in Palmer's head would have tipped the scales in his favour.

Guttered.

I will be rapted if he can repeat his performance against the Pies. He should get one then.

22 and 24 possessions in his first two games, speed, poise, breaking lines...Palmer completely deserves this week's nomination.

Kreuzer's time will come.

For someone called Verbs you have a poor command of the English language.

The 'verbs' that you were looking for are 'gutted' and 'rapt'.

hehehe 'rapted' is a well established word around these parts, and much like tudor england, by decree, it is grammatically correct.

Palmer totally deserved the nomination. Gutsy, brilliant couple of games. Kreuz will get his turn. And if he doesn't but plays 15 consistent games, who cares.

Someone after my own heart. Don't make a habit of it, though, dark one, or you will go crazy.

Maybe he was pissed (guttered) at the time and meant 'raped'. You are assuming he meant 'rapt'.
