Agree, happy with incremental progress, obviously not with the result!

Been suggested that Carltons fitness program is structured to increase its intensity as the season progresses. Theory is that the younger players should be conditioned to run through the entire season. Previous years found the mid way point as the stumbling hurdle, very little resistance past round 11.

Very good signs of the game plan coming together, moved the ball well through the middle at times, and seemed to be more comfortable in their decisions. This should only improve once the fitness level allows players to run out games. The correlation between their increase in fitness and the decrease in errors should become evident in the following weeks.

Last nights results reflected this, as we won the clearances, equal in inside 50's, but savaged the errors stats. Understand stats, may not tell the whole story, but for the moment it identifies where we are at in terms of development.

Keep the faith, the light is now brighter at this very long tunnel.
