Pros:

Kreuzer
Murphy
Judd
Stevens
Fevola
Jamison
Betts
Better ball movement and delivery forward.

Cons:

Scotland - Drop him, no good as back pocket, too many costly mistakes.

Bannister on Stanton instead of McVeigh. Stanton can run and chip is never going to win games like McVeigh can.

The fact I knew the game was over when we went to 3/4 time up by a point.

Our lack of small defenders who can nullify crumbers.

Pros
Judd
kreuzer
Fevola A totally frustrating footballer. Was totally focused. Does he have an argument with the misses and that sets him off

Betts
Murphy

CONS
Gibbs Not enough intensity One more week in the seniors
Hampson Ordinary tonight
Houlihan Russell Scotland Drop em please
Carrazzo its not his disposal its his lack of intensity..
Stevens deserves another week I suppose but is so soft its unbelievable.
Fisher ordinary but needs game time
Waite must play forward

Anothe loss. As I have said until houlihan Russell and Scotland are dropped we wont move forward.
I will cut Fev some slack but as i said totally frustrating with his inconsistent attitude.
Stevens great first half.
But he simply hangs out the side of packs and in the long term you cant have that with any player to move forward. But to his credit better this week.

Pros: Richmond should take the heat off us for most of the week.
Cons: We couldn't stop the Calder Cannons from scoring over a hundred points.

Pros:
Judd, Betts, Fevola, Kruuuuuuzzz
hard tackling at 3rd quarter, chased hard to win the ball.

Cons:
Scotland, Carrazo, Russell - when every player in the team stood up in the 3rd quarter, these 3 lazy pricks were just as soft as usual. Russell gave up chasing on an Essendon* player who pulled his hamstring! The tackling efforts of Scotland and Carrazo is just shithouse. They really need to play in the VFL to earn a spot in the senior team!

i would agree with most of that ...

and i'm also becoming fed up with watching gibbs just cruise (NOT kruize!!) around.

I refuse to be defeated by this loss. With that in mind, there are only two words I can add to this thread...

Pros:

Kruezer, great debut, expect ups and downs in the first 50 games, but he has the goods we just have to wait. If he truly is a freak we will not have to wait very long.

JUDD.

BETTS.

Cons:
Ratten said at the end of last year that third year+ players have to step up in 2008. So far Betts is doing his bit. The really dissapointing thing this year has been the output from senior players such as Houlihan, Scotland, Carrazzo and to a lesser extent Waite and Fevola from the first three rounds. If these guys had been playing as a collective at 2007 levels we would have won 2 out of three games already. The good new is though if most of them do click again and the youngsters keep improving then we are going to snatch quite a few unexpected wins.

Pros
- Fev
- Judd: getting closer to 100%
- Kreuzer: magnificent debut
- Betts: very good
- Jamison: solid and improving
- Stevens: good for about 3/4. Hopefully 100% next week.
- Generally a spirited effort from the team

Cons
- I expected Essendon* to overrun us in the last quarter.
- Russell. I've been sticking up for the kid to date but it is now clear he doesn't have what it takes. Didn't chase Lovett hard enough when he kicked that goal in the third quarter and of course the turnover kick to Bannister hurt us badly.
- Scotland and Houlihan. Dissapointing defensive efforts and I'm not sure we can "carry" both players in the team.
- I would like to see a bit more intensity from Gibbs.
- Even with big contributions from Fev and Judd plus Stevens playing well we still couldn't muster up a victory against a relatively weak side.

In Gibbs defence he did have some good clearances from stopagges in the third quarter. I reckon his work around the packs is very good for a 19(?) year old.

Nice to see Betts has moved on from being last week's whipping boy.

Pros:
Probably Kruezer

Would not put Judd in as a pro as this is what we got him for. He should be providing this consistently from now. The only real professional we have.

Cons:
We have no defence.

Again I will state Scotland and houlihan are nor defenders and have not a defensive bone in their bodies.

Still too many passengers in this team. Far too many.

We let thru 150 pts and no lucas. Disgraceful.

Pros:

JUDD - just think how good he will be when fully fit in a month or so
MK - What an amazing engine - great debut
Eddie - have not been a fan of his lack of consistency, but what an incredible effort ... brilliant game.
Jamo - Great effort on Munga - hate that pr.ck so much

CONS:

FFFFFFFFLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOWWWWWEEEEERRRRRIIIIIIIINNNNNNNGGGG UMPIRES !@!!!!!!!^^%$%^$^$

Russell - Must never play for CFC again .... had enough, so soft, skills not up to it. Give AB a go
Scotland .. time for a break

Very frustrated tonight, but great effort by the boys. Win around the corner I think.

Just a few expected wins will do me.

Pros
- Kruz of course
Judd pays for himself.
Cloke
Eddie
Banno
Fev off the grog and back on form
21 gls

Cons
-23 gls against
- Gieschen and his rules committee are killing the best game in the world. The inability of the umpires to show any discretion in most instances made me scream with rage. THEY ARE FLOWERING THE GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Scotto
- Our ability to turn defining instances of victory, at crucial times throughout the game, into defeat through poor decision making or even poorer execution is just infuriating. And often it's the experienced players who do it.
- Bad Waity played this week. Last week was Good Waity.
- The 100's of interchanges is a blight on the game.

Regards Cazzesman

watched them all ... he did well and no doubting his talent, but at this moment he's just cruising. he isn't playing with intensity and verve ... just cruising

I agree. He was instrumental in the third quarter with his centre clearances. His third quarter was as good a quarter as he has played for the CFC.
