Yep I got mine earlier this week too. I thought the content was fine. The only thing I didn't really like was the cover photo. I don't really feel that looking up the noses of coach and captains makes them look threatening. :?

Maybe not threatening but it's good to have some insight into the brains of the operation... :P

Has anyone seen the bombers mag... looks good, simple layout, reads well with some hierarchy. I did offer my services to the club in regards to design.

I know mate, what's with the colour? It's Blue every bloody year!

But were are the blues, wouldn't it be a bit strange if it was some other colour.
I don't think the magazine looks ugly, how would you change it and remember you don't want to spend too much money making it when the magazine does it's purpose.

The thing I find frustrating about IC is that the magazine is a start in terms of maintaining contact with members across the world, but that contact is severely let down by the crapola which is the official site.

Could you imagine how bad it would be if IC was a print version of the website?

IC is improving, especially in important areas, like imaging and design, but there's still a lot of room for improvement.

The issue I have is with Sam Jacobs, and no it has nothing to do with him being a redhead.

Did anyone else notice in the team photo he looks a lot shorter than the other ruckman and even Paul Bower, Jarrad Waite? He's even standing at the end of a row that fans down from the middle.

Very strange :?

That's because he was photoshopped in, as was Ellard I think, and maybe one more player, but I can't remember who at the moment.

Couldn't they have just increased the size of his image rather than reducing it to fit in with the curve?

I saw the Geelong version- it's twice the size and had articles on each player.

Our Mag is brilliant....

You get it for free if your a member and to what we have been served up in the past, I was impressed..

The AFL should take a leaf out of our book and make the record the same size, just like it was in the 80's!

Just because it is big, does not mean it is better! It is what you do with it!

I've always thought that!
