Everyone needs to click on remember me every time they log on.

This has been mentioned many times, I have tried to advertise it as much as I can.

This bug occured after the last upgrade.

I might try and automate the remember me section?

Mr Blueseum do you want me to upload these directly to the blueseum site?

Note the hawk supporters helping out (in gold),

I have an awesome shot of the reverse side of this somewhere - just got to try and find it in my shed.

They are fantastic pics!

If you could upload them that would be great!

I was actually contacted by the guy who did all the artwork that appeared on the banners in the 1980s. Still waiting to hear back from him but he still has a lot of the drawings.

useless trivia about the magpie banner - the magpie was stolen off the remnants of a collingwood banner after a previous game

ok, while I am on here I thought I would post up other photos that I found - some aren't banner related but hey, I'm bored and don't want to work.

Image

Believe it or not we actually used to play on Anzac Day, I took this from the ground, from memory this was against the Dons in 1989. Gates didn't open until late - ground was packed that day.

Image

This was our last game ever at Windy Hole, Sticks kicking truly, we murdered them that day.

Image

same day, snapped this as the players were warming up, can you name them all? I know them all except the one on the far left. edit - I think it's David Glascott.

Image
Sydney in 1990 (I think)

Image

picture of sticks for his 100th game - I can't find a pic of the banner yet.

Image
1979 GF Banner - The other side read 'we can be heroes just for this day' (or something similar)

Image

Banner says it all - A milestone fenzy, for those that don't remember this was the game we lost to Richmond when Dorra missed a set shot in the last minutes.

Image

Finally this was us in Geelong in 1989 - this was the game when Dominator got crunched by Ablett - broken ribs I think? Note the feral geelong sheep shaggers hanging off the advertising

Great pics, they would look great on the individual games pages as well.

You need to be logged in to be able to add picture to the Gallery. When logging in make sure to check the 'remember me' button.

After many requests, the Blueseum now has the 2008 Bible ready for download. All players, since player 1 - JIMMY AITKEN, is within this deep and wonderful stats spreadsheet, thanks again to Carlton Historian Stephen Williamson.

Enjoy!

From the Blueseum

can someone confirm that to add a photo to a game you just use the attach function? (I tried round 7 1990) - I think.

Attach is not the way to do it.
Your two pics are attached to the page, and I cant find what that actually means.

If you look at this page in the documentation it will explain how to do it.
http://doc.tikiwiki.org/tiki-index.php?page=Wiki-Syntax+Images&highlight=images

Basically you go into edit mode, and upload the picture from your computer.
There are other ways if the picture is already in an image gallery in the Blueseum

..

Yes thats right. Attaching has been used for a few pages but you really have to look for them. If you can add them to the Banner gallery, one of Jarusa, tcblue, BlueWorld or I and a few others will be able to add the picture in to the game page so it will be permanently added. When you're done uploading what you have, let us know in here and I'm sure someone will help out.

Thats Peter Sartori between Rhys and Mil.

I remember us playing Essendon* on Anzac Day at Waverley a few years before that.

Believe it or not, playing on ANZAC Day wasn't always popular. It was only after Essendon* and Collingwood made it a significant day that everyone else wanted to jump on.

heads up for the blueseum folk, someone who is good friends with Colin Corkery may be in touch soon to give a bit more info about his time at Carlton.

ASK GLENN: REDUX

The 'Ask Glenn' section on the Blueseum has proven to be popular.

The latest batch of questions and answers are IMO brilliant, they give an insight into Glenns playing career that I have not seen anywhere else.

http://www.blueseum.org/tiki-index.php?page=Ask+Glenn

Very proud of this part of the site, it is unique among footy sites.

Remember any questions please send them into the Blueseum, they do not have to be about Glenn's Carlton career they can be about anything about the Blues or Footy in general!
