I found this unusual:

I used to follow North Melbourne when I was younger

did his dad play for two clubs?

John Murphy actually played at three clubs - Fitzroy South Melbourne & North Melbourne - he won 5 B&Fs at Fitzroy and 1 at South Melbourne so to nab his son is a massive bonus to this footy club.
Marc already shows the qualities to ensure his career will be filled many achievements.

QFT

The arrival of Judd thwarted my Murphy for captain campaign. Judd is young enough that Murph will probably never captain Carlton but the guy oozes leadership. And as DUC says, cute as a button

Gotta love him.

They will build the best midfield unit in the league. This year these boys lay the foundations. Solif foundations.

Easy Duke...you might make a mess.

Juddy’s arrival was obviously massive for the club. When I first walked in to do some weights, I didn’t know whether he would be there because he had just signed, but then Eddie Betts came running up to me and said, “Chris Judd’s in there doing weights!” It was a bit of a thrill for all the guys.

I think Eddie is more excited than Fev when Judd is around :-D

Hmmm, I wonder whether Fev's not as elated about young Juddy as the rest of the team, going by his actions :P .

I don't know, just a Libba I have :? .

During pre-season, everytime Judd was in a photo Fev was in the near vicinity.

I think Fev is pretty excited about the delivery he might be getting this season :)

 Have I mentioned that Smurph reminds me of my nephew and as such, I'll not have language like that thrown his way?

Not that there is anything wrong with that Shag.
