Geez, I'm an eBay powerseller and I've been throwing my old copies of 'inside carlton' out in the rubbish.

It always amazes me what people sell and how they turn a buck. I havent seen the advert but with the stuff I sell (mostly bicycle clothes) it costs me about $2 to list the item and then 10% of the sale price in commission. Add to this the commission Paypal charges as well if the customer chooses to pay this way (and most do).

I see lots of stuff for sale for a couple of bucks and you just know that the only people that are making any $$ are ebay themselves. Some poor sucker sells their inside carlton for $3 or so and thinks they've mde a bargain but forgets they've paid ebay $4 for the priviledge. I dont understand how folks can sell something for a couple of bucks and make a profit that makes it worthwhile spending the time to take photos, make up adverts etc.

its a ugly looking publication. The club has updated its logo and branding but yet the magazine looks old and terrible.

Cool, maybe it hasn't been send yet.I renewed my Mship the week before the season, hopefully i get it. I always like to get the Season Guide with the players profile, not fuss with the other issues.

I agree there is so much junk people sell on ebay and some stuff that people hog and buy several copies to put a crazy price, that someone really wants example a cd that's isn't available just to be greedy.

I actually have a friend who will not spend more then $15 for any cd and if he seen some rare cd in his shop or elsewhere that he knew i want he would sell it for triple on ebay.

I seen a bunch of Scorpions new CD in JB Hi Fi for $10 each,i didn't tell him until i got one and there was only a couple left in case he bought them all and put them on sale on ebay for like $20 each.

Has anyone seen the bombers mag... looks good, simple layout, reads well with some hierarchy. I did offer my services to the club in regards to design.

They would be remiss to hire a janitor for that job.

got min yesterday and i think it's fantatstic. sure not much new/real content but thats to be expected as it's not going to have much ground breaking news.

i think it's fantastic and love the smaller mag. the older lager inside carltons looked old IMO. this new ones are great.

i also really like to team photo with the draw on it. looks good above my computer at work.

Yep I got mine earlier this week too. I thought the content was fine. The only thing I didn't really like was the cover photo. I don't really feel that looking up the noses of coach and captains makes them look threatening. :?
