It's just been confirmed, Kruezer will play over 300 games for Carlton, win 5 Brownlow medals, make the AFL hall of fame before he even retires, and will simultaneously cure cancer and Aids......

What actually goes on between years ears whereby you could even contemplate posting something as uninformed as that statement

Are you channeling Homer Simpson? When Homer speaks a stupid thought out loud and then goes on to say............"Did I just say that?"

Do you sit back in your bedsit and say........."Did I really just type that?"

Our side is to predictable, one dimensional and we need to address this. Watching the bombers, pies, port and the hawks you see they have this flair about them and they keep opposition players on there toes cause you don't know what they going to pull out next.

Yeah, the Hawks looked fantastic a couple years ago with the chip, chip game. How did the bombers go last year? bombed out huh? and while we are at it, why would you like to be a pies supporter when you have won 1 premiership in 50 years unless you like being the bridemaid...

Our side might be a little bit predictable, but you mate are 100% beef steak predictable. Are you even a Carlton supporter? no seriously are you!

i cannot believe people keep replying to melvey's posts. it's so plain obvious he's not here for the right reasons yet we just keep feeding him what he wants. why don't we all just boycott him by ignoring his posts and never replying and then see if he keeps coming on here to stir us up?

There are quite a few others here we should be giving this treatment too.

Thats fine, as long as you actually have a difference of opinion.

There is nothing wrong with having an opinion. But put it in the right forum. You are basically putting up the same opinion in different threads when your opinion is not even related to the subject of the thread.

You keep repeating that Cotchin and Palmer are better recruits than Kruezer. Fair enough as you are entitled to your opinion. But we didn't recruit them. So what value does that add after the fact?

I'm not on Melvey's side, but how can we guarentee anything?

He'll be a AFL player, that's pretty clear, but how good he'll be at that level is still unclear. We hope he'll be a gun, we hope he'll be a champion and we think he has the tools to get there but I still wouldn't be guarenteeing anything at this point.

Or am I just being a bit of a killjoy?

The only thing that can guarantee whether a player will be a gun/champion/superstar is time. Many moons ago when the likes of James Hird, Tony Lockett, Gary Ablett, Jason Dunstall, Paul Kelly were recruited... I am sure some of the same comparisons may have been made and people were unsure whether they would turn out to be great players.

I even think back recently with some players that have played for Carlton, I am sure there have been some who have had sub-par performances early in their career, and turn out to be superstars...

To be quite frank, give the players time - and I am speaking about any side in the AFL - before you pass judgement on whether they are any good at the top level or not. After all... they are only human.

Kreuser will be fine.

He wont miss gametime as the result of his hip condition.

An operation will take place at the end of a near future season.

He will recover quickly.
