If this guy is not the prototype of the perfect human being, then I don't know what is. What an article.
When he finishes footy, he'll probably cure cancer.
That said I'm still losing sleep over the state of his groin/fitness on Thurs night
settle down fella, he's only a footballer
Sticks and Diesel were only footballers. This guy is a talented human being, in a sporting, academic and social sense. He's a bit of a freak. The maturity that shines through in his articles is astounding.
The one proviso is that his conditioning better improve ten-fold from what we saw on Thurs or we'll be laughed at for the next 5 years.
For the record, I agree with the sentiment in this thread that our players are poorly drilled, and that we're miles away. The continued ability of Collingwood to slot youngsters in seamlessly compared with our mixed results with youngsters is a source of continual frustration. Mick Malthouse has got them so far ahead of any club in the development sphere - it shits me no end.
Hey, i think Juddy's coming along beautifully.. he has come back frm a serious groin injury which had him sidelined for months, and was forced to play in exruciating pain last year, for him to get back to his absolute best will take a little time..
I don't know about anyone else, but Judd looked great on Thursday night, considering he's only at about 70% max! Certainly the most talented guy out there on the park, and Judd said himself it will take some time before he regains his best form, but when he does, boy, watch out!
Another thing you mention about the young kids in the side, I believe with Jamison, Edwards, Hampson etc, all been given game time and showing some potential since Ratts has taken over as coach is a sign that our kids are beginning to properly develop a lot better than in the pagan years..
Hampson and Jamison in particular, have thte ptentail to be very good players for us, and I cant wait to welcome back Fish, Hampson and Kreuzer for next weeks game.
As long as we dont fall for the trap that we've got ourselves into in the past against the Saints, i believe were a good shot next week to give the saints a run for the momney, and hopefully a win!
