Well, unfortunately FEV is a match winner and our only decent established forward.

Its the clubs fault for not recongnising he was a time bomb and plan for not only indescretions, but injuries and the like and recruit a project full forward or another forward which I was screaming for last year and was shot down because we had Fisher (injury prone), Hartlett (injury prone), Edwards (undersized and inexperienced). Who else we got ? O'Hailpins (yeh right not at the moment), Cloke (Lumbering).

I dont want the whole team to suffer by having him suspended, so yeh we need to accept it.

Lets face it guys the nice good guys are not always going to win you games.

We may not make finals, but we need to improve. At the end of the day, without FEV we are no chance in hell of winning.

let the punishment suit the 'crime',

what would that entail?

would suspension be a punishment or a measure to prevent him from doing it again? Because if you think it will prevent him from doing stupid things you are kidding youself and if you think it serves as punishment - well, who exactly are you punishing? Him? His teammates? Blues supporters?

Play him and if his form is shit drop him, see how his season goes and if there isn't a huge lift in attitude and sustained performance then trade

yeh his a great bloke and a great footy player and i will continue to defend him, people make mistakes, im sure most ppl on here also make mistakes. I will continue to defend him and if people on here dont like that then thats there problem.

Play Hartlett and Edwards deep and show Fev that he is not irreplaceable.

Tend to agree....I place more emphasis on getting the culture right for the future than one game vs Tigers......Hartlett can play FF and Edwards can do Fishers role.....

What ever happened to a simple apology and offering to clean it up? or do something to make up for what he did when he was clearly intoxicated?

I would be happy if we didn't do anything providing Fev gives up the grog again this year.

Jars, I was thinking that he could perhaps do with a "whizzanator" but a colostomy bag would work perfectly too!

The dangers of uromisitisis cannot be underestimated.

Since there's no footage of him peeing, no wonder Fev said "I bet they don't" when he was told there was footage of him peeing, because it simply doesn't exist.

Did they turn the camera on after he peed? Why wasn't it on before?

It's all a load of baloney, and everyone has fallen for it hook, line and sinker.

No peeing. No assault. No police. No arrest. No bruises. No broken bones. No punching. No "patrons" as eye witnesses. No comments even on levels of intoxication.

Fev should get off without suspension and without a fine.

It is indiscrete, innapropriate and very poor form. It is however, only peeing in public.

All I'm suggesting is that some perspective be brought to the matter.

Footy supporters want all players from all clubs to act as role models at all times. Players come from a cross section of society and will behave to different standards depending upon there personality.

If we hold Fev up as a role model for us and our children then perhaps it says more about us and our lack of judgement than we care to acknowledge.

if you wish to be technical about it - what fev did was criminal on several fronts - indecent exposure, assault, being drunk in a public space etc
