Hey verbs can you share your wisdom with Fev, because he is lacking in any brains ATM.

There is no chance they will suspend him from any games. My guess is that he will be fined 5000 and booted out of leadership group.

Oh well, I guess this cancels out the chance of anyone from Beijing getting into the Carlton leadership group.

I suspect he is way ahead of you in those areas

A 'Friend' of mine said......... 'Suspend him for Rounds 1 and 2'. I couldn't possibly say that but a 'Friend' of mine did.

Gutter journalism- Yes but it wont go away
Fev's latest behaviour episode - disgraceful

Consequences for his actions:

-Suspend him for 5 weeks

-In lieu of a fine, Fev can pay for a 'minder' that the Club will employ that will be with him, in Public and after dark hours for the rest of the season.

-Finally trade him at the end of the season. Get a good draft pick while he still has some value. (Yep even though potentially he may only play approx 18 max games because of the suspension)

-Re the leadership group, well to him to be sacked might be more of a relief than a disappointment. It might say to him 'well I can relax now as I'm not having to set an example to the younger players' because I'm not in the leadership group.

the club does not need this crap and the club and its brand is bigger than one name, no matter how popular he is with kids. How the club deals with this matter is more important than a win on Thurs and I for one will be happier with the club if he is suspended for some games than if we win against Richmond.

If I got in trouble for every time I have urinated in public..... well I'd be in a lot of trouble.

If you are reading a big hello to the family in the car at the Kalkallo petrol station in 1999.

must be removed from the leadership group - I'm not too fussed about a fine or suspension however I would like to know where does the club draw the line (if ever)?

Its not as if Fev is an 18yo draftee
Its not as if this is Fev's first transgression

Clearly whatever measures the club has used in the past - be it threats, fines, suspension - has not curbed his behaviour. So where to next?

For mine an ultimatum needs to be made (along the lines of steve johnson) - transgress again and you are out (ie traded)

Whether he is in the group, out of the group isn't an issue - he does not see any responsibility to the club or his teammates

the club does not need this crap and the club and its brand is bigger than one name, no matter how popular he is with kids. Judd is more popular - so Fev can piss off if that is all that is keeping him at the club. How the club deals with this matter is more important than a win on Thurs and I for one will be happier with the club if he is suspended for some games than if we win against Richmond.

Didint a Collingwood player face charges over something similar?

I believe it was Trent Hotton, he was sacked from Collingwood not beecause of this but it was the culmination. Came to Carlton, grew up and now doing unbelievably well overseas and Australia with Leadership group stuff at some of the biggest football clubs in the world.

I think he was just young and stupid, Fev is young and stupid minus a brain

That would have to be a Dead Set Certainty.

I have a feeling he might get a holiday as well ...... a long one. It's all about setting standards for the playing group. As petty as Fev's behavior was, it's just simply the wrong thing to do!!

Never a dull moment!!
