Thanks for the offers of payment. Unfortunately from where I sit the ANZ website is down at the moment so I can't grab my bank details. Don't worry, you'll all get your chance to throw money at me soon enough...

Oh should mention too that if anyone wants to pick their tickets up from me before Saturday (so they don't have to go in so early, etc) then I work in Camberwell and live in Mont Albert. So if that's an option PM me and I'll give you my address and phone. Would save some stuffing around on Sat I guess...

OK, all pretty much accounted for... bar 2

So I have two spare tickets for Saturday night in our group of 20ish.

They are $27.80 each and on the wing (Bay 35).

We'll all be spending the best part of the pre and post game in the bar I'd suggest.

PM me if you want em.

i dont think i'll be able to make it!

it's $120 one way from canberra and thats the cheapest i can get.

i could get a train back for 70$ but i'm looking at an 8 hours wait to get home.

plus i would need to get from the middle of canberra to home.

it's just going to cost too much

i'll save my pennies and look for cheap flights during the year and see what other games i can come down for.

cheers anyway guys

OK.

We're AFL Members and we also have Access One membership at the Dome. So we've been getting in on AFL Membership but we have access one tickets for the season.

Do I still need to book seats?

AFAIK there's no area set aside for AFL members, no need to buy guest passes and you can sit with anyone.

While I'm only saying what TicketBastard told me, they definitely couldn't sell me anything from about Aisle 6 to 20 - it was all AFL members. I specifically asked them if that was just for the AFL season but she checked and told me it was for saturday too.

Apparently.

Well it's only 5 pages. Wouldn't take that long...

AFL members can definitely sit in the general public area, vice versa? Well see the above post...

Now that the tix have been organised, this will allow us to spend a bit more time in the SK room before we walk around to our seats.

Can only be a good thing.

Hammer I owe you a beer.
Monty I owe you two.

Another thing I've noticed.

Dallas Crane are playing at the Hi-Fi Bar straight after the game.

Anyone wanna go?

Nah.
I just want to kick back and celebrate the return to form of the Carlton Football Club, with a few friends and a few beers.

Cammo

For the sake of "transparency", I have pissed off with all the money given to me so far and there ARE no tickets.

Oh, bloody transparency. Truth is everything was just done on first come first serve via my PM method.

T4D and Melbelle, I knocked you 2 and Cammo back earlier, but since then I've caught up with some mates of mine who aint going to make it, so you're in as per my earlier posts. Please confirm that you still want them.

edit: T4D's asterisk is gone

Cammo - if anyone else pulls the pin mate, you're in. Melbelle is having superstition anxiety, so keep Saturday night free , you just never know.

Thanks to those that have transferred the money already. As I mentioned, I'd much prefer the direct deposit details than cash on the day, but if you get stuck or get paid on thursday say, cash is OK.

If you want to collect the tickets from me this week, as I've mentioned I work in Camberwell (or the Tower Hotel - class) and live in Mont Albert. PM me for details. Otherwise, Scotty will be teeing up the place to meet to grab the tickets, I won't challenge his might as president just yet. Looks like I'm treasurer though.

Any questions, pm or email me: bluehammer at bigpond dot com

cheers

Alright! Just call me Andy Bichel, kids.

Fine, I know when I'm not wanted. I'll get my coat and hat and skulk off into the darkness of behind the interchange, upon which I will make good use of my AFL membership to sit with Bec and BIT again, and make good usage of the time on Saturday night to continue the great "Barney you big spunk" chant.

Goodnight, TC.......wherever you are.

Envy you guys clubbin in together to see the Wiz GF. Great to see the Blues community spirit even with the difficult logistics and finances involved. Hope you all have a great night.

Bit hard to get there from Darwin as I am savin' to get to last game at Optus - so I will have to make do with live telecast.

After PJs and Scott S's 5 sec's of fame on Foxtel last week, how about a banner to let us viewers know where the AA Squad is.

I suggest something like.....

AA Squad
TalkingCarlton, stalking Eagles
(Hullo NTBlue)

I was actually thinking about this the other day.

I'd love to have some sort of cap, t-shirt, badge etc that has an AA Squad logo on it.
Might look into it and see what I can find.
