Libba has been on a downhill spiral for a long time now.

He is a loser who has got tickets on himself and has burnt his bridges everywhere he has gone.

I have it on the HIGHEST authority because I live in the district and am very close to this football club - that he has already lost the playing group of the Sunbury Football CLub - (where he is senior coach).

There has already been a mass exodus of players there and the season hasn't started.

Give it away Libba the game passed you by a long time ago.

Who cares? Seriously? It's nothing but sensationalism by Channel 9 giving 5 minutes to a hack has been that will have no bearing on anything or anyone.

So Mandy,

if Swann came out tomorrow and intimated that Collingwood tanked, you wouldn't feel at all aggrieved? Wouldn't think it displayed a lack of character on his part? Wouldn't think that he was a traitorous bastard for spilling his guts to a muckracking 'journo'?

Pigs arse you wouldn't.

i love that libba has now rendered himself unemployable. what a tool.

all he needed to say was its the vibe.

reminded me of hard copy... hutchy would be a terrific candidate for that show.

hutchy's next story is rowdy Roddy peee- per

This will all blow over - this is a can of worms - did we tank? yes. Is there evidence to definitively prove Carlton tanked? No. Feeling and knowing something was contrived with proven statements are poles apart in the legal system.

Libba - you will not have a job at any AFL club - self centred little dwarf that causes trouble at his former club and ours - credibility = ZERO

We all know we tanked. The AFL knows we tanked. John Smith knows we tanked. The Footy Show viewers know we tanked. Libba knows we tanked. Even John Howard probably knows we tanked...though he'll probably deny any knowledge of it happening, unless knowing we tanked makes him more popular with voters in which case he'll agree we tanked.

No-one can prove we tanked.

Not like this reaction, no.

Look how many people are online right now. How many were on when it was announced Gibbs had resigned?

Maybe it's the culture bred from the bad times in the past few years but you lot seem to love dwelling on the negative. If you can't proclaim "oh woe is me" then you're just not happy.

FFS - this should be an exciting time for your club right now. Lots of cash, competant coach, good playing list.....

Anyone who thinks a person of the calibre of Libba is going to be your downfall is just a pessimist and perhaps should go barrack for Richmond.

I have little doubt that what he is saying is true, but he really had no right to slag off a former employeer.

There is nothing to gain by saying what he is.

I listened carefully to what he said. He actually said nothing. There was no direction from anyone, no-one actually did anything, there was nothing said in the box (although there was a joke about tanking), he just had a feeling!

What a load of trumped up crap.

Hard to belive that Hutchy won a walkley.

BTW Judd was magnificent :-D

As soon as the boys mentioned this on TFS, the first thing I thought was "I'll bet my life savings it's Libba"

Put yourself in Libba's position though. You're a crap coach, and at the end of the season you're rightfully given the flick.

In order to get your name back in the paper again you take a cheap shot at your former club, hoping to regain some lost honour. Only to have it blow up in your face and to be shown as a sniping little twerp once again.

Then you hear Paul Roos say "I wish Carlton were investigated as closely as we were", and the crowds of mindless bogans joining the chorus. Wow, if I say the same thing, everyone will love me again and believe me, even if all I do is say exactly what everyone knew already (playing kids, putting guys in for surgery, winning not the most important thing etc) as well as give opinions based on nothing but "a feeling", but use an opportunistic @#$%&! like Hutchy to manipulate and twist it to sound like something that would hold up in a court of law.

Now everyone will listen to me AND I can bring down those pricks that sacked me despite my brilliant brilliance. HUZZAH!
