ahh - now I know things are back to normal - President charged with dodgy business dealings and the Club under investigation by the AFL..

:? :? :?

http://www.foxsports.com.au/story/0,865 ... 11,00.html

"CARLTON is being investigated by the AFL over arrangements it has struck with four teenagers from Ireland.

The Blues were recently told by the AFL they needed to explain and justify contents of discussions with the Irish four, who are among the elite gaelic football juniors in their country... "

From what I read in 'The Age' this morning, it's about whether we've correctly included the 4x$1,600 sign-on fees in our TPP. Even if we haven't, it's hardly going to be a big deal.

Slow news day.

What a flippin joke? Where is there any evidence of inproprietory?

Quote:
In October, Blues general manager football operations Steven Icke travelled to Ireland to talk to junior gaelic football players who had been identified by the club's international recruiting consultant, Gerard Sholly.

Early this month, the AFL warned clubs that strict salary cap rules applied to international recruiting raids.

AFL are now backdating their warnings.

Forthwith known as 'The Irish Four'.

Fresh from other AFL Clubs being beaten around the head with wet lettuce leaves for their indescretions. (St. Kilda, West Coast et al)

The AFL are now are now constructing and erecting crucifixes on Golgotha as we speak and these are not for any Easter Passion Play re-enactments.

I think Gore Vidal stole a march on Paul Keating for this analogy.

Did Gore Vidaal also say that John Hewson was simply a shiver looking for a spine to run up?

Ken Wood = complete knob who wouldnt know an investigation unless it crawled up his arse like a stool pidgeon confession by gutless, gormless turds like Stephen O'Rielly holding a loud hailer shouting "I confess, I confess".

The only thing systemic are Demetrispew's weekly colonic irrigations. because he is just so full of shit.

No, but Harold Wilson did say it about Ted Heath.
