If Judd tears a leisurely new arsehole through the Bulldogs this Friday Afternoon - I can see 30,000 before Round 1.

Is it just me or anyone else seeing little green circles going round and round on the Carlton website?

I brought my first ever reserved seating membership. Generally i go for silver. Managed to get great seats aswell.

However as i found out today...adelaide memberships as are 80% cheaper than ours. I have no problem with the cost of our membership, but everytime you see membership figures and adelaide are on top, it's because they are so much cheaper than any other team.

I think that's because Adelaide have more members than they have seats at Footy Park.

So if you sign up now, you're membership is cheaper because you don't get a seat; but you do go on to the waiting list.

I think once you get a seat, your membership then increases.

gold membership if available is only $98. That includes guaranteed GF ticket purchase if crows make it.

That's $98 on top of the $205-$290 you've already paid for a Silver Membership; which you have to wait 1-2 years to get.

Quote:
Gold Membership - $98

The only way to ensure your ticket to the Grand Final if the Crows are playing! Available only to existing Silver Members

Also, it's not a "guaranteed GF ticket"; it's a guaranteed chance to get a GF ticket.

Quote:
In 2008, Gold members receive (in addition to their respective entry rights):

* Guaranteed opportunity to purchase a 2008 Grand Final ticket if the Crows are participating

So don't worry mate, we're not getting ripped off. :-D

i trust that you are right about the $205-$290 thing you said, but i never thought gf ticket was included, i said that they are guarenteed purchase. But if gold is only an upgrade of silver than k...it all makes sense now.

anyways, i don't think i'm getting ripped off, i just thought that the membership tally that always has crows on top is not accurate...but now i see it would be.

thanks for the clarrification

I got a call from the club yesterday advising that they have allocated our reserved seats & the membership pack & card will be here in the next couple of weeks!! I need to buy guest passes for the first game so I'm quite concerned about this. The season starts in 2 weeks

I wonder if anyone knows or has heard what sort of numbers there are of members from last year who are yet to renew? Would be a good indicator on how the final number may look?

Just signed my 6 year old twins as Captain Carlton members. The person I spoke to on the phone said that this time last year we had 21,000 members.

Carlton members are notoriously slow in getting their membership...

Historically, large bulks of Carlton members sign up in the week leading to and surrounding round 1. So expect a surge of members over Easter

Talked to a committee member before the game who said the membership figure was almost 30,000 as of today.

Judging by the lines at the membership tent I would assume we've added a few more today :-D
