At times we want to save the small videos of player interviews, etc to our Pc.
These are streaming video, and it is not easy.
Came across a site that has a lot of good geeky programs. One is a
capture program that will capture these, and the resultant file is placed
in a folder. It is converted to WMV format for the PC.
It also does youtube Flv files.
I tried it, and it works well. It si reasonably easy to use.

Of course you have to be using a decent browser for it to work ...

Would this work with the games that are streamed from places like wwitv.portal and the AFL/bigpond games?

ummmmm.. thanks for the frustration.. The first program doesn't work (Why won't it work with IE7?) The download for Firefox won't work as it is an "unknown file". Some neighbourly help would be appreciated.

Theres a reason why the AFL/Bigpond make there video so hard to steal...

I have a program which can do it easily but since i think this thread might get deleted anyway i don't think i'll post it.

OK, got it. Had to download plugin browsing with Firefox. It now works and Realplayer automatically gives the option of downloading the video. Cheers :)

P.S. Anything that can play IN MY HOUSE, ON MY COMPUTER can be recorded.
