Am I allowed to say that his roof isn't high enough?

It was worth reading the article to get to the line about James Brayshaw ... he couldn't fix anything!

I dislike Mr Smith with the best of you, but tone it down please.

To those readers I say - I haven't spoken to, heard, or read comment from any Carlton member who wants Dick to leave.

He is the saviour of this proud club, and I for one consider the job his until he's ready to leave - plenty of years down the track I hope.

Ignore the petulant whinings of a man who has lost whatever relevance he once had with his constant stream of invective.

I have never bought The Australian, but when I have read it online for free I still feel ripped off. Will not even waste a click on that crap anymore.

I see it a bit differently

Hard to understand if you talking simply about money why such a rich guy would cheat to get more.

I say that if he isnt instrumental in Carlton cheating in any form then thats fine because I personally am sick of us being corrupt.

Saw on the news that Dick had all the players and coaching staff watching a thing on recycling and saving the world.

Personally I would of thought the time would have being better utilized kicking the footy a skill some of our players lack.

As for Smith who gets the Australian anyway. I dont know anyone. I dont read any of his moral ground articles because he was the worst behaved cricketer when he played for Prahan.
And isnt he an Essendon* supporter.

Quite happy to build Fatprick Smith a 3rd or even 4th story extension to the cesspit he calls his home.

yawn...............................

broken record...................

i say the only solution to put young Patrick's mind at ease is after The Blues win the premiership - with Dick Pratt as president - collectively all Carlton people go round to Patrick's house or his place of employment - players, fans, everyone and with the premiership in hand - and show him what it feels like to win the flag. Sing Lily of Laguna. That would put his mind at rest.

It would be a bit like that Seinfeld episode where Jerry heckled that heckler.... but only 40000 times more enjoyable.

Patrick must finally be back from his Christmas holidays.

Its good to know that you put holidays before your principles as far as your problem with Richard Pratt is concerned.

I think your campaign will have about as much success as your on-line campaign to save your fellow lush's job at Essendon*.

Not sure if it's been mentioned here, but the other day Mark Finne on SEN absolutely gave it to Fatprick. Basically called him a sour and bitter old man. We should ban every thread on Fatprick as I'm sure he gets his rocks off comming here and reading these posts. A sad attention seeker he is.

He is a hypocrite - as he wants to canonize serial salary cap rorter, serial retail rip-off merchant, serial conflict of interest - the now hopefully pretty cold in the ground Ron Evans.

[edited for inappropriate comment]

Okay then I am talking about his bowling action then - he was a chucker.

I would have thought you'd prefer Rotten Ron to be rather warm in his new abode:

Keogh I think you will find that some of the players who were in the seminar organised by Dick, had either been or were going to training.

Some of the more senior players were in civilian clothing and might have had a day off.

They are footballers and young men who are still formulating their own opinions on all matters of life.
Whether they have a separate recycled bin in their kitchen in 15 years wont be influenced by a seminar organised by our president.
Some looked pretty bored on the news.
I would have some of those players practicing their kicking every waking moment their near Princess Park going on what I saw Sat night.

Which they might have either before or after the seminar.

In regards to their boredom level, it would do them good to be more interested in things such as the environment at the world we live in - a balance between playing football and life outside of football would be beneficial.

It's a bit wrong calling him human, though.

Point taken.
I understand that we are an environmentally friendly club .
Lets hope we are a disposal friendly club too in 08.
