We still seem to have no system whatsoever.

Sideways, backwards, around and around, along the boundary.......

I repeat,,,,what is wrong with Murphy?

He has the Koshitze's, lack of awareness.

We looked better once Haddz came on. Murphy is getting the ball heaps but his confidence is well down. He will be fine though.

Bower is clumsy.
Carrots needs more penetration in his game.
Russell is still rarely seen.

We will be better with Judd Walker Ohalphin and bentick in the side.

I am reasonably happy in the end. I love the handpass game so i am pleased we are giving it a go. We just need to get better at it.

Relax people, it is the second game of the pre-season cup. Hawthorn played really good footy in that first quarter and blew us away, better now and learn from it.

It is the same old issue. Skill level. To quote Denis P, "We know what to do". "We know where we are". "The boys are trying their hardest" Blah Blah Blah

Damn..! A Cousin rang at the start of the final quarter, and I managed to get off the phone and back to the tv as the siren went..

Did much happen in the final quarter? Waite play forward or back, and did Gibbs continue the form until the end?

Interesting how Hawthorn completely lost their structure after Mitchell and Franklin went off.

Great to see the boys fly the flag on that @#$%&! coward Campbell Brown. He shat himself when he saw three Carlton blokes all in his face.

a bit too many sideway handballs in my opinion.
Hawthorn is a very good side, they will do quite well this year.

Well I'm happy. Obviously we still haven't come to terms with our game plan, but our pre-season games have been against quality opposition in Port and Hawks, plus we play West Coast next week.

The Hawks only scored 103pts against us tonight. Last year that would of been 150+, and the Hawks goal scorers were mostly midfielders which tells me our work rate was well down defensively and that our key defenders actually stood up well.

I'm still confident we will finish 8-12 wins comfortably, we have so much upside as a team and individually.

Tonight's best IMO were Gibbs, Murphy, Jamo, Grigg, Simmo, Stevens. Special mention to the cameos by Hadley and Kreuzer.
