So from 76-4 down we're at 88-54.

Which means we've scored 50 to 12.

I can live with that.

Not the 76-4 bit but

I think realistically we will finish near the bottom of the table, next year might not be so great either, three years is about the amount of time it takes for new fitness drills and plans to work, certainly not the first half of the season.

I would love to be wrong on this though.

And if we are short of some bite we have two BIG units of Irishmen who have proven they have guts and wont back down, bring the fight to the opposition.

Let them off the leash.

Great quarter by Gibbsy :-D :-D

Fev's first, second and third efforts that quarter were outstanding.

Umpiring is shocking. I counted 3 holding the balls against the Dawks and nothing, Hadley gets tackled as soon as he gets the ball, holding the ball.

We're back in the game, and everyone is quiet. Could a few people be feeling a bit silly from being premature in declaring our season a lost cause?

Gibbs is showing signs that this may be a very good year for him -- in his second year of football! The amount of poise that this bloke is showing is phenomenal.

I would not say you are wrong, but hopefully Judd, Walker, Ohailpin, Fisher etc may enable us more consistency and a more confident start.

If we had started better who knows.

Just more consistency will breed confidence.

Been trying to keep up on the mobile - and all stats are written with the wrong team's colours next to the person.... At 0.0.4 - I was hoping a big error had been made and that the team scores were wrong too but now I'm happier.....

No way will we finish bottom 4 this year. Not a chance in hell!!

So far in the two games we have played our starts have been very flat. This is just a mindset and as Ratts has said the players getting use to the game plan and getting the mix right with handball and run.

Another month of match play and come Round 1 I wouldn't expect a much more efficient game style.
