Am I the only one who thinks that Judd shouldn't be in the captaincy at all? Not even VC?

The guys been at the club like 5 minutes (rhetorically) and we worship the ground he walks on, want him captain etc. What about Nick Stevens? It Carlton supporters at least 2/3 years before they thought he was a great asset to our club, and last year we wanted him to be captain, but now that we have Judd, HE HAS TO BE CAPTAIN. A bit unfair if you ask me.

If Chris Judd walked into any club in the competition, how could you not tell me that he would not be appointed the Captaincy.

Players want to be like him, they want to play like him therefore they would want to be led by him!

I guarentee if you told them last year that Knights would be senior coach, they would of cursed you out and sid it was not to be, but now its happened, the same people will tell you he has good ideas and will refresh the club blah blah blah... sort of like Judd rejecting Essendon* cos they wouldnt give him the captaincy :roll: :lol: :lol:

Stevo would be a good captain. Simmo would be a good captain.

Judd will be a GREAT captain. If you need proof of his influence on the playing group, look at all the stories doing the rounds - the desserts at Raheen, the salads from the cafe after training, popping out 10.30's around PP etc etc The younger players look up to Stevens, no doubt. However I think Judd goes beyond that and serves as an inspirational AND aspirational figure to the the horde of youngsters at the club.

In private enterprise you don't pick leaders based on who's been in the queue longer. You pick the best person available with the skills required.
