No, it was announce on the radio. Speculation has been rife for about a week that it will be co-captains.

Has to be Neck Stevens on his own... or if its co - captains it will be Neck and Judd.
We cannot not give Stevens the captaincy because then he will crack it.
I think he needs the extra responsibilty, i really think it will improve his game.

It has to be Judd. You don't go and recruit one of the best players of the last decade and not make him the focal point of the Club.

As for Stevens, he came second to Whitnall last year and I think that tells a bit of a story. If he needs the Captaincy to inspire his game then he's playing for the wrong reasons. Getting back to 2007 form should be his aim and would be our best case scenario for him.

Stevens went to ground alot on the weekend. Now, whether or not that was him 'trying too hard' because he wants the captaincy or just a matter of being out of action for so long and needing to find his feet again. It's not a criticism just an observation, I'm sure he'll get back to his composed best

Anyway! I'll be happy whatever happens.

So do I. hate the concept, to the point where I think the AFL should make clubs nominate one 'official' captain so we really know where everyone stands.

Judd should be appointed, if Stevens cracks it, so be it, just proves he's not worthy to be Captain. He's hardly been a shining example to the other players in the years he's been with us - sure, plenty of good games, but plenty of times he presented out of shape, and admitted as much.

JUDD. Premiership Captain, star player, role model. JUDD.
