Had hamstring tightness at training.

Why would we be changing a winning formula?!

Oh, I dunno....to give some others some match time in almost-real match conditions?

Dunno about NSW/ACT but we're live on Ten again in Qld.

Hawthorn would have lost today if it was the regular season. It was only the extra points for the super goals that got them over the line.

With Waite being a permanent backman now, this could be the first epic Waite v Franklin battle that could go for the next 10 years. Could be the new Kernahan v Langford.

Apart from that, I wouldn't really care if we lost if it meant we got a practise match at Princes Park. I'd rather see that!

Whilst winning would be good, my priority is to see some of our young players further develop and show signs of improvement - if we lose, then that's OK, it's NAB Cup - we're on a long journey.

Realistically, we need another 2 or 3 years to be a top 4 side.

Agreed. Spot on.

I wouldn't mind if we rested a couple of established players (or just played them for a half). Maybe one of Scotland, Simmo or Carrots should have a rest and give AB or Blackers a chance in the midfield. I'd also love to see Ando, Austin and Jacobs get a game, and maybe Carlos, Aisake, and/or Harts (if they are fit). Fitting them all in is the 'problem' of course... 8)

Good test fior our defence this week, to see how much we have developed. Another probable top 4 team we are facing.

I'm not sure whether I have detected this correctly but this would be about the third time Franklin has played against the Blues?

Nah, this will be number five. Three home and away games, one NAB Cup game, for a total of 11 goals. He might want to find the radar this week for us to stand any chance.

You guys will win easily.

We need to rush back Judd this week. We simply can't afford to not win this game. Judd @ 50% is so much better than any of the others kids on the list.

A priority!!
