Well of course what Synners says makes the most sense, because everyone except for Carlton-hating BFposters, over-zealous SEN workers and our own chicken littles, knows that all that's eveer been said is that Judd is a few weeks off where he hoped to be. The only people to ever say different are people that WANT Judd to break down and cause us more heartache.

Yeah I know.

Don't worry it will be just like the "Judd nominates Carlton" thread. Everyone freaking out every 5 minutes with some "inside" news that he was going into the PSD, or the box seaters are going to get him etc. etc. It's great entertainment 8)

What would Synbad know? He claimed for weeks that we'd swap picks 3, 20 and Kennedy while KB correctly claimed that Richmond would get Judd.

I reckon we can really exploit the injury in round 1. Keep him to sub-20 possessions & we're half a chance.

CMON EVERYBODY!

This is CHRIS JUDD.

Y'know - the same Chris Judd that turned water to wine (would come in handy at my place), freed the slaves, built the Great Wall of China single-handedly, took on Chuck Norris and won...

...and we're all worried about a little groin surgery. C'MON!

Anyone heard the latest rumour?

Well apparently my source tells me when Judd had the shoulder ops, they took the shortcut operation also. Problem now is he can't do cart wheels when we win our next Premiership

It's true. My source is solid, bit to much flour.

Just having a look over at CSC and Benny posted this old article by a doc.

http://www.realfooty.com.au/news/news/j ... 94900.html

From that article:
Quote:
Judd will be working hard over the summer and progress will initially be slow and frustrating

Yeah I agree the SailorMan is full of crap. Let's face it he made that stupid prediction that a Billionaire White Knight was gunna come outta the clouds and turn the club around. Next thing you know he'll be predicting who the Captain is gunna be. I don't know why you guys even listen to him. Geez, our mate Melvey is the one with the good oil. :P

I've had OP. It's very frustrating because it's never black and white. It's not that you can or you can't do something, it just restricts you to different degrees. It's very hard when the coach comes to you and asks if you can play, because the truth is you can, but you just can't play to your normal ability.

Last season Judd played while really restricted. In hindsight maybe he shouldn't have played.

He may always be 5% restricted based on his previous abilities. He may be 25% restricted this year then fine next year. Let's just wait and see before anyone gets too hysterical. We don't know, the rumour mongers on bigfooty certainly don't know and in the end the doctors and Judd himself don't really know.

Let's just wait and see. In the end it is something that can normally be fixed given enough dedication (something I didn't have) and the right support. He probably won't be 100% by round 1, but that's not a disaster, and certainly not a reason for the doom and gloomers to get all worked up.

Did Judd actually have OP? Did he have an adductor release (similar to what J Brown had, and a few others this pre season such as Ball and Rocca?)

I thought he had the adductor release, which is one surgical option for treating OP. He certainly looked like he had OP the way he was moving towards the end of the season, but I may be wrong.

I thought Judd injured his groin in the match against Essendon* last year at Telstra Dome. Prior to this game he was in top form and moving freely hence I'm pretty sure he doesn't have OP.

OP is different.

Op is a degeneration of the muscles and bone around the pubic area.
And abductor release is just that.

Luke Ball has both...
Jon Brown had the abductor release.

Twig's said Judd's groin looked fine... that's good enough for me.

Should get her to give an opinion on mine.

I've had 4 operations for my OP & each time they released my groin it took me a long time to fix the problem (still ongoing) but with the right care & physio we should see him sooner rather than later!

Seeing pics of him pivoting & changing directions & running his 200m sprints suggests he isn't far away from resuming!

It seems to me that there is absoutely no cause for concern.

The exaggeration of his return from injury is the attempt to pay us back for getting him. It's pure wishful thinking from envious failures. i.e. its just bullshit, spewing forth from the enemy.

Wait for the season.

But [insert name of opposition club here] didn't want him anyway.

Ohhh no SOSAV, I truely believed KB. He has all the best mail.

As of this morning's Hungry for Sport - the 'box seat' has now turned into Richmond = "The Surprise Packet of 2008" .

Yes, you are correct, there was nothing Nostradamus-like in the 3, 20, JK prediction  .
