"Ladies and Gentlemen, this is your captain speaking!"

Flowering brilliant quotes, with the quote of the millenium right here...

"Once you lose that real disappointment after losing, then you almost become a bit of a passive victim."

It's this loser attitude that's been the difference between a semi-competitive Carlton and the lubed-up ankle-grabbing Carlton. I am 100% adamant that with the winning attitude, and if all 44 players of our past 7 years bled blue for 22 rounds, we would have won a few more games.

Now if this isn't the Captain speaking candidly about Carlton, we flower me drunk. This is the most informative and positively realistic article we've had in years.

For the alleged Brainiac Captain Lance was, he wouldn't have made it past the first sentence without the loss eloquance and cliches. Kouta...pffttt....

How did we get this guy???????

CJ for Captain - I'm the number ticket holder!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what the articles title is trying to say with out actually saying it, is that chris judd has come from a class act to a club catching up.

the club cant help the media is pumping up our tyres, juddy has come out and let some of the air out.

on field, juddy would have the best assessment of where our club is at. I'm sure he can see the difference of skill level, depth, professionalism, setup, equipment coming from a class act like the eagles.

the wheels are in motion and thanks to Pratt, Swann and co. In one year they have made up the 10 or so years our club was behind some of the power houses, and soon to be a club like the eagles minus the misdemeanors.

Dominant ruckman = Natinui

CHB = Hurley

FB = Jamison

CHF = Kreuzer.

We'll be fine thankyou very much.

That's a nice dream, but almost no chance.

Unfortunately you're probably right. Some people on here would like to see us win 6-8 games next year and finish a respectable 11th. Why should we have a threepeat between 2011-2013 when we can sacrifice it for four extra stellar wins in 2008?

I think a lot will depend on the much publicised groin of a certain player. I honestly think if we didn't get Judd or he was injured, we'd be looking at 6 to 8 wins anyway. I think with a healthy Judd (100%) that we're an outside chance to make the 8. With continued development in our young players like Murphy and Gibbs and Walker... I just cant see us winning only 4 wins. Collingwood jumped up the ladder quickly. Despite our backline, the blues will likely do the same.

I'm not concerned just yet because I think it is more about his personal expectations rather than the Doc's. Didn't Aisake have it done? ..he was out for months and months.

Who else has had it done and how long were they out for?

Right on preacherman!

He has intelligence and he's actually capable of answering questions without cliches and without being coached on what to say. He answers from himself and in a fairdinkum manner. I always enjoyed the fact that Akermanis would say it how it is, but he is a tosser. Now we have a bloke who says it how it is and just happens to have a decent noggin.

I'ts just begun to sink in for me.. :-D

West Coast picked Judd up as a result of 2001. Made his debut 2002.

Exactly right. He went to the West Coast after they had won only 5 games, and he's come across to Carlton after we only won 4 games. He's been in this position before. He knows what it takes.

The fact that you have to ask that question pretty much spells it out for you mate.

Oooooooohhhhhhhh...... you really offended me with that call :cry: People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

How's Judd's "done deal" going with the demons? :garthp: That one will never get tired. Back to the closet at channel 9.
