I think he was exaggerating a little bit when talking about 'never playing again', simply pointing out that sometimes injuries never get right and you never know what may happen. Relax.

there'd be no value in that - the odds would be close to even money on nervous nellies

Seems the rumours I heard were on the money. he is 90% right - has residual soreness and yes is slightly frustrated at it taking longer than expected

i told you this the other day and then that was said on the radio also

juddy isnt going to give it all up to a reporter in SA

Is this inside info? If so, then I am relieved and thanks for passing it on.

However, judging by what Judd said - that it may never be right and he doesn't really know when it will be right - I would suggest it's not just a matter of slight residual soreness, judging by what Judd has said.

relax chicken little

i don't know if you're trying to stir things up on purpose or if you are just a negative person.

i think you are trying to read too much into things. when there is some solid evidence that there is a problem, then i'll be concerned. at the moment you have a player saying it hasn't happened as quickly as he'd hoped. that's it.

I personally saw a lot of positives in the article, as I worried about the club rushing JUDD back...I would much rather him miss some additional games this year and be right for the rest of his wonderful career in navy blue than see him never return to full fitness. It was an excellent article, slightly scary but refreshingly honest

Will be fine. Yes hes coming along a little slower than expected but theres no serious damage done to his groin. Relax people. Who cares if he plays round 1 or round 2 or round 3 he has at least another 5 years of incredible football left. Why blow it over being ready for round 1. Its not like we won't beat Richmond anyways 8)

This is like Judd trade week all over again. Everyone stressing, while grrofunger telling everyone to relax.

Quite amusing!

It certainly is a major concern. I don't know what I'll do if Judd never plays again.

How long does it take for residual soreness to go away?

Surely it is a concern that Judd doesn't know when he will play./ Could be R1, but could be R12. That is some residual soreness, don't you think?

Not negative, just realistic, which is something you clearly are not.

Do you know for a fact there is no serious damage?

A lot of experts in TC.

He's interview in the Hun has got a few people thinking that there is no definite timeframe on his return.

For those that were attending training he was moving quite freely in the last few weeks and it was quite possible that he might have overdone it, which isn't surprising given his dedication.

Judd strikes me as a not being overly effusive about many things, so he response to the question was as laid back as he seems to be. Footy is not the be all to end all for him as it is for the rest of us.

I'm confident that he will be back. I don't have a medical record to back it up, just a gut feel.
