My 9 year old's birthday card came on time - good effort considering it is out of season. In some years gone by it hasn't come on time or at all, so well done guys.

BTW, this year the card features Judd & Stevens - could they be the captain/vice this year????

Does anyone know what will happen if the Bushrangers host the Pura Cup final? It's scheduled for March 15-19. Carlton/Richmond is on the 20th.

Is that likely?

And is it that a problem? I would have thought it would be more of an issue the other way round.

It's a drop in pitch, so won't they just replace the pitch?

Either that, or they can play the final at Junction Oval.

victoria play their pura cup games at the junction oval anyway, though i'm not sure what will happen if we make the final. i'd say it'd still be at the junction oval.

If Victoria were in the SHield final, it should be played on the MCG. It is a contest worthy of the G. The junction oval is not worthy of hosting a State 5-day final.

They can take the pitch out then we play the next day.

it seems the afl and acb have agreed to go down this path. afaik they will transfer the date of the pura cup final to 1 day prior to the date it was scheduled for. i don't know a great deal about drop-in pitches but i'm assuming that the centre of the ground will be extremely soft and therefore unsuitable to play footy on. anyhow i don't think this will be a problem as nsw have 2 home matches coming up and should probably win them both.

i emailed the club asking them what our membership tally is atm and also asked for them to put up a membership barometer on the club website, here's the response i got:

Dear Member,
Thank you for your email.
As of our most recent membership count, the tally sits at 21,320 so going well.
Keep an eye on the website for our membership barometer coming soon.

I was told by the club to expect my membership packs by the end of January - it's the 1st of Feb, and I'VE GOT NOTHING! A CURSE, A CURSE... I'm ripping up small pieces of membership-shaped plastic in their absence.

I mean gee, the season proper only starts in like 6 weeks or something!! :P

Did all you guys who got your membership card pay for it in full, or are you paying monthly via direct debit? Because im paying via direct debit for mine and it hasnt come yet, but ive paid in full for my daughters and hers came 31st Jan?

With regards to membership... premium gold is the best in my opinion... seating on level 2 at the Dome and the G cant be beaten. Me and 5 other mates sit together on level 2 last year now we have 5 more mates that want to get premium gold memberships because they saw our seats.

Called the club today and they said that they are at least a week away from calling me regarding seat allocation ( as ive asked to change our seats at the dome ) then a week or so away after that to get me my card.

They are probably so busy keeping up with all the extra memberships coming in this season.

I have everything except my hat, which I have to arrange. As does MrsKK, and KK Niece #1
