That article brought a smile to my face. It's not so much what Judd is doing, as he would do that regardless, but it is the way the other players are recognising the changes they need to make to follow Judd's suit that is most impressive.

They still taste like fish.

I was hoping we could take this down the "Waldorf Salad" path Basil.

"Celery! Apples! Walnuts! Grapes! In a mayonnaise sauce!" :P

I would have, but we had run out of Waldorfs.

Good article and we needed leadership like this so bad.

Judd doesn't want the captaincy fella's, he's already been on the record saying at first he doesn't want it, so stop going on about it.

Im not going on about it but "The Age" is the one stating we have appointed him as our new Captain.

Can you point out where this 'on the record' remark was made? I only recall cleverly constructed remarks demonstrating (at least feigned) humility. Eg (and I'm paraphrasing): "I couldn't expect to walk in here and take over the captaincy, I haven't done a thing here yet". That is NOT him saying he doesn't want it.

So I am happy to keep going on about it, until you can give me concrete proof he has said "I won't accept the captaincy this year". The only thing that would stop him becoming captain is his injury. There is simply NO WAY would the players not nominate him. And if he is fit there is NO WAY would he not accept it.

JUDD will be Captain whether he's officially appointed or not.

Windows, there are plenty of reasons why he may decline the captaincy.

Believed by whom to be a pies man?

He's as red & black as they come.

But agree, there are many worse. At least he's a footy writer as opposed to an 'opinion' writer...
