And maybe not so much in game commentary, but I reckon he loved nothing more than sinking the boot into Carlton on shows such as White Line Fever etc.

So, yeah, he was taking the piss.

Casey Dellacqua - Target shopping, Holden driving, Carlton loving Aussie at the Oz Open.

Someone should get the club to get her jumper post haste via GIBBS as he has been sitting in her player's area with coach and family.

Kevin Bartlett's mother in law died today and she was apparently a HUGE blues fan.

Rhett Bartlett, Kev's son, rang SEN and asked them to play our club song in memory of her.

Must admit, it's been a few months since i'd heard that song....... i got a bit teary!

I don’t think ABBA knows anything about Carlton or care for that matter, I too had that photo somewhere but all it was just a promotional thing at that time sorry to say.

Quote:
The Carlton midfielders told carltonfc.com.au that Dellacqua was looking forward to tonight’s clash. “Casey is really excited . . . it will be a huge night for her, obviously Mauresmo is a great player, but I think Casey is quietly confident.” Scotland said.

Dellacqua earned her shot at Mauresmo by downing 15th-seeded Swiss Miss Patty Schnyder in the second round on Wednesday.

“Gibbsy [Bryce Gibbs] was in the box watching her on Wednesday, so we came down to support her this morning and a few boys are getting along tonight,” Murphy said.

“It’s great to have an Australian player and importantly a Carlton supporter going so well at the Open, and we hope it continues for her.”

I hope she beats He-Man.

Not sure if it counts, but Michael Voss and Nathan Thompson were mad Carlton supporters when they were growing up.
