This is awesome. I've spoken to quite a few people who dont follow Carlton or Richmond who are going to go to the Round 1 match. Do you think it could be a sellout? Richmond fans are always on board and in the box seat early.

Oh I will kill a man *figurative* if it's a sellout, I'm taking my mum, step-father and - most importantly - my little brother to his first match.

Somehow I don't think it will be though, considering it's on a Thursday at 6 - not sure if everyone will be able to make it there being before Good Friday and all.

Don't be surprised if it is close to a sell out 60 thousand plus Carlton fan will surely be there to see Judd play his first game not to mention the Richmond fans and the general public only game in Melbourne.

Most anticipated game in years. I'm excited thinking about it now :P :P :-D :-D

Does anyone know what will happen if the Bushrangers host the Pura Cup final? It's scheduled for March 15-19. Carlton/Richmond is on the 20th.

Is that likely?

And is it that a problem? I would have thought it would be more of an issue the other way round.

It's a drop in pitch, so won't they just replace the pitch?

Either that, or they can play the final at Junction Oval.

When you recieved your membership pack you would have also recieved a white letter saying that your members card which will have your seat allocation on it will be in Janruary..

Given that the membership dept didnt go back to work until the 7th of janruary they should be just about ready to land in the mail anytime soon

cheers

There is no doubt more of a delay with online renewals, as they probably are processed through a separate company before being sent on to the Club. I think it's a bit harsh saying it's pathetic when you renewed online towards the end of the year, and the membership people have only been back for a week.

As long as packs are received before the first NAB Cup match, does it matter when the memberships are received? Patience, virtue etc...

I reckon renewing by phone is best. Not only do you get a warm fuzzy feeling at dialling those three premiership numbers, but you generally get very good and prompt service as well.

:-D

victoria play their pura cup games at the junction oval anyway, though i'm not sure what will happen if we make the final. i'd say it'd still be at the junction oval.

Maybe they should play it at Princes Park then.

If Victoria were in the SHield final, it should be played on the MCG. It is a contest worthy of the G. The junction oval is not worthy of hosting a State 5-day final.

They can take the pitch out then we play the next day.
