He was actualy contemplating profesional bodybuilding after retirement, Which would suite his amazing genetics no doubt.

I'm guessing he won't do it just yet though, the last thing i think he would want to be doing straight after retirment is having an extensive training scheduel coupled with a strict diet......

I suppose he wouldn't have to do too much more to be a gladiator, and the series will only last a short time one would think. But if he wanted to he could be enormous.

I got given it for christmas, and it had a free book swap voucher in it. Is it worth reading or should i trade it in for something else???

That sounds like a reality show Andrew Lovett and Colin Sylvia would join after they've retired.

"It's a Knockout" was one of the best TV shows ever made in Australia. Superb. I remember watching it as a 7yo kid in the late 80's. I got up religiously at 6am to watch it on Saturday mornings.

Amen. Ditto here mate, It's a Knockout and Double Dare = great 80s TV.

Off-topic (or rather back on-topic) my cousin made the final 60-odd in Melbourne for Gladiators. I think he failed the screen-test, since he is a meathead - but not a big enough meathead...

In all honesty though I loved Gladiators when it was on... watching 'contenders' try to climb the pyramid - only to have a Gladiator twice their size take 'em down.

Channel 10 were trying to revive it as they felt a show like gladiators is similar to big brothers friday night live which does well. There is no doubt the show will do well for Seven.

Liked "Hang Tough" myself, the one with the rings. Not for any athletic reasons, but rather to see the female gladiators wrap their legs around the challengers when they caught them :-D

Case in point, Jet from the UK version (who everyone here knows I have an unhealthy obsession with)

I'll be right back...

It's a knockout was a poor mans version of "almost anything goes" - anyone else remember that one???

Grundys Production taped over nearly every episode of it's a knock out. There is hardly any archival footage of this great show which i think would have been awesome if they had kept them and replayed it on foxtel.

I remember both, weren't they just about identical? trying to rate the "better" one is a bit hair splitting I would think.

I think they should just bring back Tim Evans!

OK.

So i run around PP 3 times a week (sometimes 4 if i've been drinking alot.....which is quite often). And i see Kouta up there every wednesday night. As you all know, i'm always to scared to say hello to him. Always have been, always will be.

Anyways............ I cannot beging to to tell you all just how big he is looking. His body is quite possibly the biggest i've ever seen it. Actually, he's legs are looking a bit skinny at the moment but it's just because he is so big up top.

Each week, he just get's bigger and bigger and bigger. Holy Crap!
