This is a bit of a bugger. Good thing is he shouldn't be on the injured list for too long.

Sounds like a gutless and cowardly act. The attackers should spend time in jail in my opinion. we saw with Hookes what the consquences can be for physical violence. There is just no excuse for it.

4 on 1 is bad enough, but his girlfriend had a tooth knocked out as well.

The morning radio news reported the following information from the Club.....

Unprovoked
No damage to eye socket
Attackers gave no indication they knew who Waite was
No mention of any football connections
4 persons taken into custody and interviewed by Police.

The Carlton boys had there christmas party at Transport in Fed square were Juddy was attacked sparking a minor brawl. I was told a few guys tried to jump Juddy and his team mates stepped in. The incident was minor.

Herald Sun report on the incident

Quote:
The couple received medical treatment but did not need a hospital stay. ......

Communications manager Ian Coutts described it as an unprovoked attack that had nothing to do with Waite's status as an AFL player.

"He's an innocent party. I've been told by Jarrad that it's a random attack," Mr Coutts said. ....

Such a @#$%&! shit thing to happen on NYE. I feel sorry for Jarrad. He was just trying to enjoy the night out and to have this kind of crap happen. What a bunch of wankers.

These people won't learn until they get put behind bars. :x

The more they keep saying his AFL status had nothing to do with it just makes me more convinced it was.

Could be, could be not.

The bigger issue here is why Waite doesn't have enough brains to party someplace with a semblance of class.

A suited punishment for these lowlifes is to use them for tackeling practise for the whole playing group !!!!!!!
