Yep, great thread Synbad.

How lucky are we as a club to have someone of Mr Pratt's accumen and gravitas at the helm? A person who may be a billionaire, but who loves our club just as much as we do (maybe even more).

Thank you Mr Pratt. What you're doing for Carlton will never be forgotten: immortality is yours.

Dear Mr Pratt

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for bringing back my beloved Blues from the brink.

Forever in your debt.

P.S. I always do a special sign of the cross when I drive past Raheen each morning to ensure that the good Lord keeps you safe and well.

I agree with all!!!!

Has anyone ever had more of an influence over a football club??

Only special people could achieve what he has, so glad he is a Carlton man.

Dear Mr P.,

Thank you for flying the flag at the right time and in the right places !

With your help, Carlton has entered the modern age of football, a strong Club administration is the key.

The Carlton of tomorrow will be wiser and richer albeit humbler.

The Club will let its success on the field do all the talking.

Yours most gratefully and with pride in the navy blue

Rocco

Yes, a big thank you from me too, Dick. I wish you good health and many more fruitful years associated with CFC.

(and a MASSIVE thank you to the Carlton members who voted early this year to make it possible for Dick to come on board...can there ever be any greater example of the need to ALWAYS be a paid up member, no matter how challenging things might be??? Sign up now folks!)

Mr Pratt,

I got married a few days after you came on board as President. I'm still trying to work out which day was better.

Did your wife get Chris Judd over the line?

Thank you Mr Pratt, I kiss your mighty feet. I love the CFC as though it were a member of my own family, a family member that was dying. You gave it the kiss of life, and of course, JUDD.

Mr Pratt,

Thank-you for accepting the challenge to restore our once great club to its rightful position within the football and business world. Thank-you for providing the insight, the inspiration and the determination to make Carlton once again a great club.

Thank-you for enabling our club to no longer be the basis of ridicule and scorn by others and for providing hope for a Carlton supporters.

My greatest thanks lays in what you have allowed my son to enjoy over the coming years. Your efforts have provided him with the opportunity to enjoy success Carlton style. He will be able to wear his Carlton jumper with pride and proudly declare his allegiance to the Blues.

There have been many dark days over the past 5 years where I wondered whether we would ever see our Blues play successful finals football again. Your efforts, committment and drive have allowed this dream to be rekindled.

I trust that you will always do the right thing by our great club and in my view that includes remaining as President during this personally challenging time.

Thank-you for giving so much of your time and effort to our club.

A man with a huge aura, who has been able to move mountains for this great club of ours.

Hopefully you stick around for at least one more year to create foundations that no-one will ever be able to destroy.

Thanks Mr Pratt.

Thank you for uniting this great club again.

We are coming back, all the haterizing and fear from opposition supporters proves that.

The Carlton is coming back to Carlton.

A great leader has restored us to once again be a great club.

I think alot of thanks should also go out to Greg Swann for his work.

Who says Kobe and Shaq or Jordan and Pippen were the best duo in sports entertainment.

Pratt and Swann will be remembered long past my days on this earth as the saviours.

Thank you for putting your time and resources into lifting the Carlton Football Club out of the doldrums. Although it is still a work in progress, you and the team you have assembled have given all Carlton supporters a reason to smile and feel proud about the old dark navy blue again.

Keep kicking goals Dick!

Dear Mr Richard Pratt…

I would like to personally thank you for the way you have turned around my beloved blues…

Without you…

Who knows what would have been…

But alas…

Lets not think about that!

Great thread Synners.

Mr. Pratt I can say without any trace of hyperbole that you have saved our great club. You are modest enough to say its a team effort but returning to the club has been the most significant event since 1995. You have attracted the calibre of staff we needed on and off the field but most importantly you have inspired hope and belief in the future. Thank you for lifting our great club off its knees.
